Quick question: are there any larger scale, Halo-esque battles in the campaign or are they more along the lines of the first Destiny? I loved the gameplay of Destiny but sorely missed the epic scale.

For some reason I always choose exo as my race , they just look the coolest imo .

Played until I got to the EDZ , controls definitely feel better hen the beta and I'm loving the little story missions I have played so far .

I should probably go try kill the bad guy at some point but damn those skyboxes are too pretty .

So, how long do the story missions take?

The solo missions at the beginning take about 1-2 hours, depending on how skilled you are.

I got D1 and D2 (Divinity OS!!) to tide me over until October, but the urge to dip was extreme.

I'm not far in either. Mission is on Titan, class specific with a choice of 3. I'm only level 8 so it's quite early on.

I'm really not rushing my way through this time, taking it nice and slow to enjoy the ride. Plus my two brothers are using my PS4 too so we are taking hour turns each with each of us a different class.

Now that I think of it, I should probably get them to level my other 2 classes rather than using their own accounts

Loving everything about this game except the Crucible. I don't know how to explain it. It's not bad, it just doesn't have that same spark as Destiny 1. Only played like a dozen games so far though.

The items unlock when you get to lvl 20. You can confirm one item, e-mote salute to verify. Thats the only loot unlocked at the start.

found gunslinger after public event chest, and just got nightstalker after opening a random chest is the world... guess this is how it works for all classes? Randol chest drops?

It's not random. You get your Gunslinger class quest open when you hit level 9 and open the first chest. Then you gotta do 4-5 public events to fill the bar and do the final mission to get the subclass. I assume it's the same for Nightstalker after you hit a certain level.
