Lbp3 ppl were down on
Bloodborne was the only savior
I'm probably very LTTP but just yesterday i heard of this rumour that there are chances Sony might announce a new hybrid system on the 19th at TGS.Suppossedly some design patents have been published recently.

(I know the article in the link is old)
Is it really possible?
Nothing teased for TGS, not even DMC5? From what I read here, Capcom was going to show DMC5 at Sony conference just after showing Marvel VS Capcom which ended with Dante and transitioning to a surprise DMC5 but Capcom realised this wouldn't have such impact since Sony showed many other heavy games including GOW. So they reserved DMC5 for TGS.
General consensus here is it being unveiled at PSX. Either that or it doesn't existNothing teased for TGS, not even DMC5? Nioh was re-revealed there that's the bigger I can remember recently.Do big AAA games with genuine global appeal get revealed at TGS?! Seems more like the kind of thing that will be at PSX, or failing that they'll sit on it until E3 next year.
Although whether it's real or not I do think it would be an excellent time to reveal another DMC game. Capcom are in need of a hit and with the lack of games in the Character Action sub-genre at the moment I reckon a new one would go down really well.

Sorry dude.
I'm not sure they are spread like that. I think team Gravity/Siren is but the rest I'm not sure. For example which of those teams do you think worked on Puppeteer? I think they're more fluid than that.Japan Studio right now:
Internal Development:
- No Heroes Allowed: Dash
- Unannounced Toyama Project
- Unknown ( team responsible for TLG )
- Unknown ( team responsible for Knack 2 )
External Production:
- V! No Heroes Allowed! R! ( developed by Acquire )
- Shadow of the Colossus Remake ( developed by BluePoint )
Unknown:
- Unknown quantity of other internal/external projects (if applicable)

With Knack 2 bound to flop they have a free slot for a game to replace that so there's now a chancewould be nice if Japan Studio made something character action-y

If Knack 2 succeeds it will just tell them 'oh looks like we are making another mediocre Kack game'

What were the sales?I saw Everybody's Golf sales in Japan. I wonder if it's good enough for a new chance for Hot Shots Tennis. Would be so good.
Isn't Sony gearing up to get Japan studios to make big budget AAA games now?

Not necessarily.Isn't Sony gearing up to get Japan studios to make big budget AAA games now?
~100KWhat were the sales?
No. 3 years ago Sony put effort in to organize the studio, as they were working on a multitude of projects but not making progress on them. The SSM head at the time moved to Sony Japan, since they were well versed with multiple projects at once.Isn't Sony gearing up to get Japan studios to make big budget AAA games now?
Internally do fun and smaller stuff, externally do AAA games.I wouldn't be opposed to Studio Japan becoming a AAA dev house but I love what they're currently bringing to worldwide studios. Their model of developing 3ish in-house creative games at a time (that are more AA) alongside producing outside projects like Bloodborne and Everybody's Golf is adding a great deal of variety, quality and quantity to Sony's line-up.
Good thing is they seem to have settled on that approach for at least the rest of this generation.
Dunno who you read that from, but like 98% of the teases here are bullshit lol
That also doesn't even make sense because Capcom had Monster Hunter World to reveal
From Software is.Isn't Japan Studio working on Armored Core?

Puppeteer was such a charming game. But man this game got next to zero marketing. If I wasn't following this game, I wouldn't never known this game got released at that time.Speaking of Japan Studio.
Where the hell is Gavin Moore? Is he still there?

After Puppeteer, he said he'd pursue smaller games next and steer clear of retail. He doesn't tweet much these days either.
I'm really not sure what he's doing.
I only came across it because of PS+ on PS3. Really adored it.Puppeteer was such a charming game. But man this game got next to zero marketing. If I wasn't following this game, I wouldn't never known this game got released at that time.
