Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Ah just spotted it, I’ll browse that in a few. Just came straight to the OT but thank you. He’s playing on a 4KTV not a 1080 so not sure if that part of it is really relevant. Seems odd Bungie wouldn’t have known about this is the issue stems from the beta though and seems like a fairly large issue, especially if anyone who bought the new D2 Pro Bundle is having the problem.

Hope they get it sorted. I'd be infuriated.

They fucked my characters faces up, do I lose anything if I simply delete my characters and restart everything?

I've been playing all day, and so far I'm in love. I sunk so many hours into the first Destiny and would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it, but the original game was plagued with flaws. This pretty much fixes the issues I had with Destiny 1 while improving on already strong aspects. I've yet to see how the endgame holds up though which is the elephant in the room for me at this point.

If I had feelings, they would be hurt
is now my go-to psuedo-tween angsty comeback

yes I do need a go-to one of those.

Umm is something broken with the achievements in this game? I just unlocked like 6 achievements for finishing story missions right after completing the tutorial mission.

You can pick between the two class abilities on either subclass, then grenade, jump, and one of two "paths" or "specs" that are a group of four perks designed to work with each other.

Where is the Nova bomb split, distance, Nova vortex options etc? Did they really dumb it down this much?

What's the general feeling on Hunters right now? I know from playing the beta they felt like the most underwhelming class to me. Anything changed or is that still the consensus?

Good press for this game convinced three of my real-life, now casual gamer friends to hop on board. Well, one of them liked D1, but dropped it much earlier than I did. Two of them have no clue what's going on gameplay/lore-wise and are just jumping in head first in the early stages of the campaign right now.

Now I need to figure out how I'm going to manage playing through the campaign with a cycle of 4 people. Hmmm...either way, we're all grown ass men with a bunch of life distractions, so I hope the game does enough to keep them coming back. I know I'm in it for the long haul though.

In the beta,
two subclass specs and one entire third subclass
were unavailable.

I'm at the boss in a Lost Sector in the EDZ, and I'm way underleveled, he's one shotting me like crazy. Anyone want to join me and score some loot? I've got him down to almost half his health, just need that extra firepower. My psn is perineumlick if anyone minds helping out.

Edit - Nevermind, just killed him lol.

Lol at this game's attempts to have an emotional story moment, you gave literally 0 fucks about writing quality in 1, so you getting my side-eye rn until you earn that moment.

Hit lvl 20, got some nice things from the 3 silver packs you get for free. Don't want to put a legendary shader on anything though, since they seem to deplete i think (it says x3 :( )

Level 20, Power 248. 5 Exotics. Flashpoint done.

It's been a productive day. At one point I thought the cramp in my hands was going to scupper the marathon.

I think I have close to 20 hours play time already. Sleep now.

PVP matching is currently slow as fuck

Also, what does the rally to the flag thing so for public events?
Autofills your super and starts the whatever countdown (3:00? may vary by event) on the map if you got there earlier than it would otherwise show up

I must say, I hate the low amount of experience you get from crucible. It's so low. I love that shit too.

Same as last game I guess.

About to start the game in less than 24 hours. Anything I should take note/be aware of or maybe a tip or two for me to get a head start grinding the power level?
Appreciate any tips coming my way. Thanks!

does anyone else have this "Dead man Walking?" a side arm with auto fire/quick reload, aling with improved stability and accuracy as the magazine gets lower!

the gun fucking wrecks!!!

also hit level 20, got all three classes for my titan and I'm just leaving Titan...

Yes it's amazing. Very fun gun to use.

I gotta say as far as power level it's been a pretty consistent and steady, nonfrustrating rate of increase through natural play up to level 20 at least.

The one think I know you should do is wait until you are level 20 to do any activities that say "Powerful Gear" as rewards. If you are planning to hit 20 before Tuesday anyway.

My friends suddenly want to play Destiny 2. Just a few weeks ago, no one wanted to play. lol. Since they're playing, I have to join them too. Don't wanna miss the party.

Just beat the campaign. Played for three hours last night and all day today, it was a fucking blast in co-op. Feels like there's so much to do now, it was almost overwhelming at times. I haven't even really touched adventures or lost sectors, loved the public events so far but I do wish there were more types. Loads of fun when people show up, reminded me of Guild Wars 2, using the waypoints to quickly get to the next one haha. On to the end gamey stuff/grind!

I feel like an idiot. Where the hell is the banner in the "A New Frontier" adventure with the sniper?

EDIT: Never mind. I'm a complete idiot.
