So how do you get more power after level 20? It seems to go REALLY slow post 200. Infusion?

I'm pretty sure mods are equivalents of WoW enchants. You can always override installed mod with a new one but it will delete the old mod.Wait, do you lose the original mod if you "replace it"? Can't you out-right REMOVE it and put it in your inventory?
How are these not clear at this point? People are down-playing what these mods mean to the game... especially for the long-term...
Whatever happened to the Grimoire and the cards?
No, you can't remove them, at least with a rare mod it is just replaced and you lose the original. They are consumables that you acquire in large quantities.Wait, do you lose the original mod if you "replace it"? Can't you out-right REMOVE it and put it in your inventory?
And I can answer why it isn't clear and why it's being downplayed at the same time I think...How are these not clear at this point? People are down-playing what these mods mean to the game... especially for the long-term...
I'm taking it real slow on console. Just enjoying the ride. Since I plan on making PC my main platform, it's not worth burning out on the game now. Seems like there's plenty there to keep me entertained without having to grind for stuff.
I'm not keen on having to do the story again for PC, but I did make a character for a class I've never played before (titan) so it is interesting enough.
I'm probably not going to raid and save that for PC, but strikes are still interesting enough and the side missions are interesting enough.
I'm probably going to sell it in a week or two so I'm not burnt out when pc release comes though.

Grave does the + mean that the game keeps tracking your glimmer over 99999 it just doesn't show it?
When you buy things doesn't your glimmer go below 99999 immediately?

What does buying a treasure map do really?
Whatever happened to the Grimoire and the cards?
Does anyone know if there's any hidden collectibles ? Like the dead ghosts or golden chests like Destiny 1?
The story was trash tbh. Like Destiny 1 bad since they actually kinda tried this time and it's still shite
Thanks! That's quite nice, I'll put a link in the tips post too

That sucks. I didn't read it much myself but I loved to see the theorycrafting surrounding them. I mean it was strongly hinted that Rasputin was the one who shut down the Traveller but never confirmed. Would have been nice to have hints like thatI saw a review that praised them removing it. I loved that part of the first game.
Also, is there going to be a PC-specific thread? Might be for the best, considering the delay.
Hmm wait, how would infusion help?So how do you get more power after level 20? It seems to go REALLY slow post 200. Infusion?
Finally got some stick time yesterday. Should I be using my Subclass credits now, or is there an advantage to holding on to them? At this point, I'm not finding the content very difficult, so I don't want to spend credits on abilities I don't need like buffing teammates, especially if it means that I can use them later to quickly top off a different Subclass.
Just not feeling the Captain America Subclass basically. All it manages to do is wear off when I'm jumping into a group of baddies.
Whatever happened to the Grimoire and the cards?
Public Events in general whether you can pull of the heroic or not are great for progression. And fun tbh except when the blueberries clearly don't know what they're doing but it's a good opportunity to practice patience.Seems to be lots of confusion about the system right now. I'm assuming they're one use items that are "overwritten" by new mods.
It does look like getting a perfect mod build is the endgame. I like the sound of that since I like that I'll have a good version of a gun/armour that becomes "better", rather than celebrating that I got a cool legendary only to immediately realise that the perks are trash so it just goes in the trash pile.
I think I'll be jumping on the heroic events ASAP. They seem like an easy and fun way to get some good loot/XP.
I'd hate to be the noob that inevitably kills the event boss before all the L20's can do the heroic activation though. I think the *slow clap* emote will see some heavy use.
Man, this game is good. I'm sure I'm still in the honeymoon phase, but I'm really digging it.
It's here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=248124950&postcount=6809Where can I find this tips post?

Activities that got you to 200 can definitely reward gear over 200. You are able to do strikes and other nigh-endgame stuff like Flashpoints at that point though as well.
You can get boosts from Reputation/Engrams, but if you're trying to be fully efficient you may want to wait until ~260 to get those.
By any chance are all of the items you're talking about maybe using a zone-specific shader and being acquired in that zone?I thought I just previewed one of the shaders that Devrim offers as a reward but now every piece of blue gear that drops already has that shader applied when I pick it up and equip it. I'm a little confused. It was happening with a shader I previewed on Titan too before this.
Any tips on finding people to play story with?
Yeah, seems like the general consensus is to farm blue engrams to 260 by doing patrol-type stuff. Kinda wishing I knew this before accepting some engrams from vendors, but I'll survive.
Post-story spoiler:What'd you guys get from your guaranteed exotic engram?
I got that new rocket launcher Wardcliffe Coil, but logged out before I could play with it.
My hunter buddy got Lucky Raspberry and was super disappointed.
Open world spawn a lot of players, press tactil pad and look for their name and ask them ?
I feel like it doesn't make as much sense as the other subclasses without Ward of Dawn. It works well if you have that active since you have an extra defensive option to make up for the lack of as much offense during your super.
Sunbreaker is where it is at for me right now though. That top line is awesome.
