What is that in the 3rd mod slot?
As someone who hated PvP in Destiny I love it in Destiny 2. I don't know what it is, but there's just something better about it. I was skeptical about them making Fusion Rifles, Sniper Rifles and Shotguns power weapons, but I think it really made a difference in terms of balance.
I can actually see myself playing in Trials, which is something I'd never say in the first game.
Started running out of space in my inventory for weapons and gear so I started dismantling the ones I don't use or are low level. Is diismantling the equivalent of dropping? Or is there someone I should be selling these guns and armor to for gold/BungieBux/etc.?

All I can think about at work is playing this game.
Fuck.
remember leveling up the nodes on your gunsman lmfao do you guys remember how fucken hard it was to get faction rep and rewards in D1??

Just dismantle anything you're not using anymore, particularly green and blues as these will be redundant entirely once you get to level 20 and have Legendaries. The mats it gives you from deconstructing blues and above can be traded in with the gunsmith at the farm for more loot.
Honestly, when I was trying to get to 20, I only had one thing in each slot at a time. Everything was replaced and dismantled as I got better and better gear.
Only exception is Legendaries; because these can be infused, if you find a Legendary you like, then you can keep it in your inventory.
Any blue stuff you dismantle gets you mats to turn into...the guy standing next to Shaxx....in the place...where....Shaxx is.
Stay safe out thereWant to add the info about Challenges and some basic Crucible tips to the tips post, buuuuut right now I have to go help put up hurricane shuuters -_-
that's the ornament mod that I just picked up, default the gun is mainly black with blue trim
Something must be going on. I haven' had any issues but I keep reading similar things.

Get on Destiny. Grab your five bounties. Spend two hours completing them and playing. Only fill up one and a half nodes. Repeat for five days before your gun is finally maxed.remember leveling up the nodes on your guns

Still can't get into a crucible match on XB.
1/8 since launch.
It's astonishing what a difference this makes, Hawk!!!!!
It seriously makes things so much smoother but also lets you immediately enjoy gear. And the grind is gone. That was such a fucking hassle. My goodness.
This is I think the most rewardingly fun game ever.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is really disappointed about shaders. Reddit is pissed. These are the top 6 posts in the subreddit over the past 4 years.

That's higher than the D2 announcement.
I hope Bungie does rethink this. I don't mind them being drops. I don't mind needing to wait on RNG to get them. I just hate that they're permanently destroyed upon use. My warlock looks hideous and it's not because I don't have shaders. It's because they're too awesome to use.
Just let me swap them or get them back if I shard the gear Bungie.
Everything else in D2 is amazing. In D1 if you finish the story you've probably already done all the strikes and every thing that's available. I'm level 20 in D2 and beat the story and I've barely scratched the surface. I have only done the 1 adventure and 1 Lost sector they give you in the main story line. It's incredible how big this game is.
Sadly the only way they rethink this is if they aren't making money with how it currently is
Quick question, what exactly does having our ghost scan stuff in the environment do? Just lore?
Love my new ornament for my fave gun!
Eh, I'm not sure that's true. People are being very vocal about their displeasure with this, and Bungie doesn't want to alienate their fanbase. I hope they make right by it, but then again, I think this is more an Activision thing.Sadly the only way they rethink this is if they aren't making money with how it currently is
Well she doesn't have new missions for me. I did them yesterday and there are no new missions.
I don't necessarily agree with this. They have other ways of making money established. (Emotes, etc) It could be that they weren't making enough off of the rest of that stuff but it's also just as likely that they were floating shaders into the pool to see the response.
Now they know the response.

Like D1 Warlocks classes are superiorSo what's the consensus on the three classes? Do they seem relatively balanced, or is there an agreed-upon standout right now?
Alright ill ask, as some one who felt burned badly by destiny 1 is this a better game for people like me who want more content and depth or is it more of the same for people who enjoyed the original?
