I still really dislike this weapon system. As cool as it is to get abilities to proc, I feel we've lost a lot more fun by limiting our weapon types to a lot of general purpose weaponry. All the interesting guns are in the "never gets ammo" category. Sometimes, I get plenty of purple drops, but I mean, I can go through my shotgun's ammo in ten seconds or so. It's incredibly frustrating, and some of the worst design I've ever seen in an AAA experience. The combat flow is just so much flatter than Destiny's was.
It's way more interesting to have a scout rifle, shotgun, and sword than it is to have, like... an AR, an elemental AR, and a shotgun, or something.
I mean, do you really think you fly between planets that quickly? It's a timeskip.
What's weird is that after the campaign,

It makes sense that you arrive at the farm and it's completely empty except for the lady with the hawk, and when you return five minutes later it's totally set up as a functioning base? Seriously, you stumble into an abandoned farm one minute after being abandoned and alone for weeks and return to a thriving encampment the next. It felt so disjointed that I wondered if I had missed something.

it's completely abandoned; I don't understand this, considering how bungie really pushed it in the marketing. There's no point to going there after the campaign. It's bizarre.
