they don't level with you but once you start getting shards you can infuse them like normal so level doesn't really matter. it's probably better since that means you can use them right away if you're leveling up.

I've only had time to play a few sessions, but I feel there's a lot more content than Destiny 1. I was concerned at first but it's quite well thought out. I also feel good about pacing out my play time. Some of you play non-stop and it seems to ruin the experience for you somewhat.

So far, no regrets! Have fun everyone!

I've reached 242 without even finishing the campaign yet and I've been doing a wide variety of things and having a great time. Really good amount and variety of content so far. Curious to see if that holds up in endgame.
 
Question about exotics and infusion and collections tab. I have a level 4 exotic I want to use at 20. If I use 10 legendary shards in the collection it will bump it up to level 16. If I Infuse it costs 4 Legendary shards. What is the difference? Don't want to waste shards.

Did a couple curcible matches and man im going to have to wait awhile before I go back. People have no idea what the objectives are or just dont care and ive failed too many because of it. The one where you have to pick up the item to earn the point after killing someone is so frustrating when your team has no idea lol. Ive seen teammates just running past the items all over the place.

I'm 20 and have access to the girl selling them. Didn't finish the campaign though. But I know why i think. Bought the game from us account but playing on EU. Well it will prevent me from spending money at least
 
it's kinda disappointing they only got things right with the second game and we'll only be getting one more game. this is definitely what D1 should've been. can't really blame them too much though. can't get it right first try all the time.

D2 is a huge step up from D1.

And yeah open legendary and exotic engrams as soon as you get them cos the power level is already decided when they drop.

Also I'm in the neogaf clan but I get no option for a clan banner or anything the clan npc lady says nothing about them

the collection is essentially there so you can get other characters copies of the exotic weapon or reacquire it if you delete it by accident or something. to get a high level gun you could do that and have two copies, but you'd get the same or better result from waiting and infusing a high level item into it while being six shard cheaper.
 
Anyone else experiencing some a major dead spot when dragging the cursor from left to right? It's crazy how slow it is for me to turn that direction while in gunfights. Right to left seems to be fine, and I played a couple other games just to make sure it wasn't my controller but the other games played fine.

Thanks for this. I mean, remove the microtransactions part from the discussion - I don't care about people wanting to make money - whatever. To me the biggest issue is that it's just dumb design and I think you nail why here. I feel like Luke and crew didn't even ask themselves if it was a good idea after dreaming up their seemingly arbitrary end-game shader grind goals. Way to ruin the otherwise brillant idea of splitting shaders among the different pieces.

Ugh.. Have to work all night, and then do some hw. I've got the next two days off and my audio/mic joiner is supposed to be in tomorrow so I can use my pc headset and mic. I'm hyped as fuck for that. I'm like ll 238 and still haven't finished the campaign. Whoops, lmao.
