Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

So do the milestone quests that provide powerful gear not reset each week? I turned most of them in except for Cayde's patrol deal which I just finished an hour or so ago. Also, does he have a treasure quest or something? Or is it just buying the consumables from him that make chests show up on each planet for 4 hours?

On another note, got this from a drop yesterday. It's been treating me well in PVP. I like that the cross-hairs are Anubis dog ears.

You have to set a role to be able to se channels.

milestones reset weekly. That’s why people having a hard time reaching above 265 need not worry.

The weekly milestones (Nightfall, Crucible, Flashpoints) reset every Tuesday.

Yes, all weekly milestones like flashpoint and nightfall resets early Tuesday. They can give good PL boosts so squeeze them in now if you know you won't have a lot time tomorrow.
 
Man I've been at 273 for a while :(

Still have to do nightfall though. And honestly, fuck the Sturm/Dragan or whatever quest.

And I think meditation glitches for me, no tokens.
 
Jesus my titan made it to 284 and my warlock is already 275 without doing any milestones and still missing a few armor mods. Warlock will probably make it to 290.
 
Are the Legendary and Exotic Engrams you get from chests/Public Eents power locked once you pick them up?

I have 1 of each now and want to know if it's safe to go ahead and open these

Take a deep breath and just do the questlines... you'll end up at 260 without really trying. Be sure to always have your highest level gear equipped while leveling
 
So I went to infuse a pair of 270 boots into a 265, and it claims it infused but the LL didnt change. So, now I dont have the 270 boots anymore.

I dont know what just happened.

The 270 would of actually been a 265 with a +5 mod on it. So I think what you did was infuse a 265 with another 265.
 
I have a couple of questions, I am currently level 15 (powerlevel: 160). I just unlocked patrols and strikes. The next story mission is now for level 15 and the one before was for level 11, so quite a gap. Probably there will be another jump like this, so what is the best way to level up? Side missions and public events? Or should I do patrols and strikes now? Are the strikes only for level 29, because in my first try people instantly left my group?

Also those badges on the planets are they worth farming?

They seem to have jettisoned the possibility, after setting it up to be that way, in favour of a more linear minded
the Thor 2 baddies shown at the end credits aka The Darkness 'killed' him but are now returning as a result of his awakening

Truant mentioned the Books of Sorrow and it was for the same reasons I defended Destiny to people who kept claiming it had no story. The most interesting part of Destiny was found in the grimoire for me.

However Bungie continue to show nothing but contempt for most of what they established; the Wired Luke Smith QnA just cemented that for me. It was never the greatest story ever told but this franchise is a big example of why people shouldn't get invested in any games story that is flagged as a franchise. Everything else involved in making something like that usurps story...unless you really love chicken jokes.

Ok I'm at 270 now but despite my weapons and boots being high 270 low 280 my chest, gauntlets and titan mark refuse to give me anything over 265, I am considering using my +5 mod on my gauntlets, and infusing my dunemarchers into a legendary and using a +5 on that too to make them both 270, then going with an exotic chest infused with my 265 to make it 270 too, wise idea?

I can pickup dunemarchers again from the collection tab anyway I guess, although the perks on them are very handy.
 
Welp no uni classes until Thursday due to Irma, gonna raid all day Wednesday to forgot about the destruction in the south. Should have power as I live on campus and I am far north.

There was never any confirmation about Rasputin attacking The Traveler. It was a hot debated topic for a lot of lore buffs.

Go to the ether public event and do it over and over 2-3 times, there's always a rarespawn captain near there you can kill in between

If you count the captain's in between instances you have 13 chances at getting the last hit on powerful fallen with Drang doing the heroic event twice
 
I'm lvl 240 what's the fastest way to get higher so I can do the Nightfall. Seems to be slow as fuck now. Also where do you get the consumables to gain xp faster for my alt.

I think it needs to be said: they made the infusion system worse.

Aside from the fact that it should work how it did before (kinetic into kinetic, energy into energy, power into power), the game doesn't seem to tell you at all or even give you a warning if you're infusing a weapon using something with a +5 mod.

The game should tell players that you're going to lose that mod and therefore, you won't get the full level you think you might. Instead, I found that out by wasting a weapon.

I did nightfall at 230 with skyburner gun with a couple 270s and did it first time, really easy going. Believeee. And I ended up 260 with all the engrams and rewards so it's worth it.
 
Anyone wanna run Nightfall on Xbox? Current Warlock Light Level is 272 and my Brothers Titan Light Level is 268 so we should be good. If anyone is interested hit me up with an request.

It's now clear that this franchise is kinda "X-Men in space" with the interesting stuff in the grimoire being there should they want to draw upon it to create the 'summer blockbuster' kinda content. I'm OK with that to be honest but I hope thy find an in game outlet for the deeper stuff that not everyone is going to want to dig in to.
 
Is EDZ or Titan more time efficient in terms of public events and lost sectors? Not sure which one would be quicker.

Also, are dailies on each planet worth it?
