My Titan is coming on pretty nicely. Could do with better bottoms but beggars can't be choosers and Devrim is the only soul kind enough to give me purple bottoms at the moment.

Pro tip for people doing the find dusk shards in the EDZ challenge. Use Nightstalker and keen scout. They will appear on your mini map when you go by this also includes chests.

Does the destiny gaf discord have a Xbox looking for group? I tried adding the role but couldn't see it - do I have to remove my PS4 role to seen it?
I hope I haven't made a mistake in switching consoles for the sequel - it seems PS4 gaf is really active

They won't sell modded versions the 'powerful loot' reward activities will get you them. It's also possible to get a lucky mod (on its own) drop as an additional reward from a bright engram but it's super rare.

So far I'm loving D2.
We killed the boss within the first 30 seconds of seeing him. We were syncing supers throughout the nightfall. Had 7 and a half min to spare. Coordination is key.

I'm wondering if most of this beefcake look is down to the dumb World of Warcraft shoulder armour Titans have in D2 and the bland menu pose. Hopefully there's some Destiny 1 style shoulder armour tucked away somewhere, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for a return to the awesome menu pose of the first game. If neither happen... I'm rolling Warlock in D2.

Hey DGAF, have a general progression question.
Should I be playing all of the adventures as I progress the story, or do those later? I've been going through the main story beats, and just unlocked
. Other posts I've seen suggest getting through the story as quickly as possible, but I feel like I would be too overpowered if I wait for adventures later (as they have recommended light levels).
Any suggestions?

Lol we all were feeling defeated when our super didn't melt him but we kept up with the DPS in time.
A bit late, but if you can get the Fallen glimmer extraction event, all the orange bar vandals and captains during that will count. Same with the orange bar servitors during the ether resupply event.
About a day to finish the story, the next day to about 240, then another day to about 260 and today to go to 280. I messed up though and accidentally nuked a few items that would have got me there quicker because I hate pulse rifles and screwed myself by ditching one. I could have used the exotic pulse to boost its level so I could equip my Mida in the primary slot and unlock modifications earlier, then swap weapons back using stored exotics from the collection tab.
You can do it quicker for sure, or should I say - more optimally.

They're a lot better designed for one. No more running through1/2 - 2/3 of a strike that you've run through in patrol and story mode; most of these are strike only zones, making them unique. They also have some mini raid like mechanics like bringing cores to a spot and protecting your teammate, avoiding moving lasers, mini jump puzzles, etc.. They're more engaging - no more running past 90% of strikes to the end boss and beat them in under 5 minutes, now you actually have to complete the little steps along the way. End bosses seem a bit better, although still a bit bullet spongey at least they incorporated things like phases, grabbing a core and taking smashing it into a spot, or standing in VoG like circles to disable the bosses shield, etc. Also, things like big battlefields where 2 factions are fighting against each other make them feel more life like. I have only played 4/6 strikes so far, but IMO they're a lot better done than pretty much any in D1; although there are a couple in D1 that would be close to these.

So does anyone else think Lost Sectors are just too easy? Nothing resets or changes if you die, so even if you're lower light level you can just beat everything by attrition. Even if they don't add no respawn zones to them, I'd at least like something akin to a challenge in them. Something as simple as a score/scoring for them could add a lot. I hope they do more for LS, cause they are still pretty cool with how big/unique the areas can be alongside the loot you can get. But currently they just feel like need a little bit more gameplay wise.

Got to 281 on my first titan.
Created another titan and got to lvl 20 in 4 hrs doing heroic public events.
Transferred all my gear to my new titan using the Destiny app.
Completed the story and Zavala gave me a 292 exotic armpiece.
Now 282 with all the exotic quests and weekly milestones for powerful gear available.
Guesses on what my final power level will be?

You might be able to keep doing that and outlevel the raid gear.
What about the folks who, misguided in their thinking that they chose better classes, are playing as Warlocks and Titans?

if i created a new character and reached level 20 without finishing the story and transferred my gear from my first character(275) to the new, will the weekly milestones be available ?

Sweet, sweet Sunshot.
Sacrificing exotics I don't want to infuse legendaries. My chest is 288, and those exotics gauntlets are 286, the sunshot is 287, the shotgun was a 283 crucible reward and everything else is 277 (272 + 5 legendary mod). Some of my other exotic weapons are above 280 but not as high as that sunshot.

How much of the game have you played? By that I mean, done all the patrols, strikes, adventures, etc as you want? Did you have to repeat anything too often to get to that level (saw your post on the previous page about farming).
Yup. Only way to hit 290s and 300s

Aesthetically I'm pretty pleased. I haven't found an exotic for the hunter besides a crappy helmet and the ahamkara gloves.
) Managed to not get side tracked with anything else!I've cleared all the maps of icons and completed all my assigned milestones. The only thing I would consider farming was the 2 hours of crucible playlist I had to clear last night to get the powerful loot reward milestone Shaxx sets you once you've done 2 matches of regular and competitive.
Everything else was jumping in to every public event I could as I was doing other stuff, and when I figured out how to make them heroic, always doing that. I have a emblem that tracks heroic events and it says I've done 32 - not counting the regular ones I was doing earlier.
If its like Destiny 1 you cant fireteam, which sucks because imo its the only way you should be playing
