MvC3 and SFV both leaked the Friday before release. Gonna take a guess and assume MvCI will be the same.

I think SFV was only weird about that because of FM. Hopefully not a problem here.

I think I got my copy of SFV a couple days earlier than that. Can't remember off the top of my head though. Think it was Wednesday or Thursday.

The Pass is definitely listed on Gamestop at $30, so yeah.
Well, the hype is starting to get to me and I might just bite the bullet and buy the game as it will probably leak here in the next few days.
I'll need a Brook converter though, as the only stick I have is a TE Round 2 (the black SF4 one) from MadCatz. Does anybody know if that white Brook converter (PS3 to PS4) will work with it? Their compatibility chart says it will, but I just want to be completely sure before committing to spending about $100+ for this game (without including the stupid DLC characters).

It'll work, don't worry. One guy who came to one of my locals brought that exact same set-up (PS3 TE Round 2 w/ a Brook converter).

The Brooks converters should work for any PS4 game. It shouldn't be a matter of games having to support it as it is when you plug in a PS3 stick directly, the PS4 just sees your stick as a valid PS4 controller.

Oh, I wasn't asking specifically for the game, but for the type of stick I have. And it has been answered above that it'll work so I'm ready to get into MvCI now (and DBFZ next year when it drops)

It does work for DLC, I bought the fighters pack for KOF and Blazblue and we can play on both consoles.
on SFV due to fight money is the only one I know it doesn't work so I hope we don't suffer that on Infinite

I think SFV is the exception because your content entitlements are verified through Capcom's CFN system just for your CFN ID, unlike the usual PSN system-level.
I hate that about SFV. I can't use any DLC I bought with a secondary account on my same console.

Not gonna lie, I'm a tad disappointed that so many of you are holding off on this game. Even with it's clear faults I'm still ready to go. Gonna get the PS4 digital version on release. PSA: Never preorder.

I mean I'm always into MVC for the new capcom characters and the game is hella lacking in that atm
Even though I'm 80% sure about getting it this week if it leaks early here (Peru, we had Uncharted 4 and FFXV several weeks before official release), I'll never get tired of saying that those 6 DLC characters should've been in the base roster in the first place, that'll never not be bullshit.

The fact that MvC:I and SFV are both on the same engine should mean that porting assets between them will be easier so I expect at least some SFV chun alts to come to marvel

He shot you with plasma balls and electrified the floor and created a lazy homing big plasma ball and teleported and sent out weird purple orbs. He floated around.
They could also incorporate Meioh Prime moves, like the weird snakes and the hails of bullets. Maybe gravity gimmicks?
Really, they could do stuff with him.

oh lol, I posted that tweet. I have the memory of a goldfish, but if hes Capcom guy, then that doesnt really matter to us, I thought he was a reviewer or something.
What we need is Max or pros to get the game, not reviewers anyway, what are we going to get out of IGN stumbling around doing easy mode combos?

Just to clarify, I'm in no way blaming you guys for not pulling the trigger and getting it day 1. Capcom has no one to blame but themselves for how shitty the roster is. It's still painful to me as well (really sad Viewtiful Joe and Ammy aren't in since this means UMvC3 will likely be the last game they'll appear as playable characters). It's just a shame that this has led to many not wanting to get the game asap. I was hoping we could all just get into the game regardless but I Capcom had to fuck it up somehow.
