Too early to hope for a metroid trailer?

Show me bayo 3, Nintendo.

Edit - Also I'd LOVE for the Zelda DLC to be set pre-calamity Gannon. Coming across all the ruined villages and fortresses in the full game fills my mind with what they once looked like.

Is it too early for a Metroid trailer? yes.

Is it too early to HOPE for a Metroid trailer? hell no, hop on the hype train!

Yes finally! I'm so excited!

Hopefully it'll be a show not tell direct where we get a ton of substantial footage and details rather than just trailers. There's a ton of currently announced games that could use info dumps.

I'm getting fed up of Mario Odyssey to be honest. Not that i doubt it'll be an amazing game but, there's enough media already.

I know it's unlikely to show up but MP4 is my most hyped game ever. Even if they would show 2s of it, it would make me so happy.

As people always do they are getting their hopes up too high. We wont see very many announcements. Thus is to sell this fall's games. I he next direct, likely december or january will probably be when theyvstart talking 2018 titles.

Alright one more vern post and I know this is definitely reaching since he said he didn't know any first party games and this was just a topic asking what ports you'd like to see on Switch lol.

Metroid Prime Trilogy HD
Super Monkey Ball

Haha poor vern

He's presented his inside information very clearly and honestly, so I don't think those are hints of anything. Just actual games he wants to see.

God I love that gif...

And as for Odyssey, remember they said there were many more kingdoms yet to be announced (and we've heard about a few since E3) so I wonder if the game isn't a lot bigger than we already thought. Might be some new things to show, like possibly other playable characters?

It sucks we may not get to see Metroid Prime 4 for a long time. :(

I wanted to throw that last one in there just in case...lol

I'm really hoping we get to play as DK! I think that'd be cool to play as him for at least New Donk City.

I would say what's likely is more info on the fall/early spring games that we know we're getting. Date for Xenoblade, name+more for Yoshi, etc etc.

Why is 3DS stuff bad? They've already said that they're supporting it into 2018 without any real impact on their Switch output, and we don't know a whole lot about its 2018 aside from the Atlus games.

They're not going to show any indies as they already did two weeks ago.

Lot of indies? What was the recent Nindie Direct for then?

More surprise indie stuff perhaps? Cuphead on the Switch would be a dream come true <3 At least has been stated that 3DS output nowadays doesn't affect Switch's output just like on the Wii U/3DS era so that's good at least.

Why is 3DS thing being bad? Because you want Nintendot kill off 3DS sooner?

It's just that the 3DS is on extra time really bad. Needs to be put down for the good at this point it's becoming the videogame version of The Simpsons. Unless they really go all the way and make another set of main Mario and Zelda games in it... 3D Land 2 and ALBW 2 would be amazing.

Have we abandoned all hope for a switch release of smash bros and bayonetta 1/2??

Hardly, especially for the latter. At this point, though, I'm a firm believer that they'll go straight to Smash 5 rather than doing a port of 4, though the game itself will be heavily based on its tech.

Smash Bros. will get a Switch entry. That's the last thing we'd ever have to worry about. That's a question of when and not if.
As for Bayo, we'll wait and see, but I doubt Nintendo wants any games to stay shackled to the Wii U when they can bring in some honestly respectable revenue on their popular, more powerful new console. Again, expect these things as a matter of "when" and not "if."

Hoping to see more Kirby Switch and concrete info on the last 3DS game in the series.

Just realized Nintendo doesn't have a big seller this November like they usually do, kinda weird, although I guess they really don't need one either, Switch will sell out regardless.

What's Japan getting in their extra 5 minutes that we don't?

Possibly Mario + Rabbids, since that doesn't release there till 2018.

TGS is also next week so maybe some japanese 3rd parties that won't make it over to the west?

Are the final five days of October really far enough removed from November that Mario doesn't count

???

Their big game usually releases like, ON Black Friday, or at least within a few days of it. Isn't November 28th known as "Nintendo Day" or something?
