Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Should I wait until a higher (260+) light level to go for the Sturm? I’m st 211 right now and was going that quest but have seen conflicting guides about when to do what.

Also fucked up and did the crucible milestone before hitting 260 :c

You didn't fuck up, it's gonna reset in 8 hours anyway. Do all the weekly milestones before reset, just don't do any exotic quests.
 
I feel like a filthy casual compared to most in this thread. I've been just doing stuff at a leisurely pace, turning in rewards when I want, and doing the milestones I want. I haven't even done the nightfall yet.
 
You can't overstate how bad Legion's Gulch and Retribution are as MP maps. I never thought I'd see a worse map than a Thieves Den or that other POS that had the 3 walkways (Sector something) but here we are. If these ever show up as Trial maps, fuck off.

Exotic Shotgun quest that won't be completable until the Raid drops.

Ya. Same. I keep reading "Don't do this until you are done with that" or "Don't turn those in until you are at this power level" and I am just over here like Can I Live? Haha.

Honestly people were following these guides because everyone expected the raid to have a 280 entry requirement that goes up to 300 by the end. But now that we know it's a 260 raid then there's nothing to really grind that hard for, just play at your own pace.

Ok thanks. I went and checked and he's not selling it. Then I checked a walk through of the Enhance! Quest and I don't remember doing that. I'm level 20, finished the campaign and the only missions showing for me in the edz are public quests and Devrim doesn't offer me a quest. What else might I have missed?
 
If anyone plans on doing the nightfall part of the rat king quest and needs a third, let me know please! Would love to get it done.

Are there any guides on which legendary weapons are good to hang on to? I just turned in probably 500 rep tokens across all the factions and have so many freaking guns.

Is there a blue icon on the edz map? If so go there.
 
So is there any reason to hoard armor blues I've acquired now that I'm on the way to 260 outside of possible infusion fodder?

Like, they can't be used when I finally start my Hunter or Warlock outside of the guns because cross infusion no longer works right? Do you get anything worthwhile outside of glimmer for dismantling blues? Half my vault is already full with that crap and I'm itching to hit the X but I recall kicking myself for doing something similar in D1.

Also are all the milestones are weekly? So if I finish the Crucible milestone today it'll reset tomorrow? That's neat if so, I didn't know these things where the new weeklies. Is reset time the same as it used to be, sometime at like 5 or 6 in the morning tomorrow? I guess if it does I really gotta get on them tonight then even though I'm only 240 right now lol.
 
Grinding to get gear, so that I can get stronger gear for the raid, so I can get raid gear to then do the raid more efficiently ad infinitum shouldn't be as fun or addictive as it is and yet...

So you can't use shaders on exotic weapons?

I have one on my exotic helmet, and when you go to the shader preview it shows the exotic weapon in that color.......but you can't actually choose it? Huh?

I'd like my minigun to have a sweet T2 metallic silver but Bungie doesn't believe in my dream

Ah I'll just wait on the next one then. Got milestones to finish anyway and will hopefully be over 280 for the next one.
 
Second and third characters are way easier and faster to level up. My first character (Titan) is at 284, the second (Warlock) is at 290 and the third (Hunter) is at 293. And I started the Hunter today.

Yes, wait until 260+. Milestones, Nightfall and exotic quests are stuff that you should do only after 260/270.

If you are at 211, public events is a good way to get some good gear and maybe even exotic engrams. Strikes and leveling the factions are also other ways to get to 260.

Open it if the engram is in your inventory, because its power is determined when you obtain it.

Does anyone know if weapon ornaments are treated the same as shaders? I have an ornament, but I'm not really sure I want to use it if I can't toggle it on and off.
