No, if anything this Direct will be where we see some of the first big third party titles being announced.
S-E: Octopath, DQ11, DQB2+one more announcement.
Bamco: Tales of..., Taiko no Tatsujinn. DBFighterz Switch announcement i'd wager.
Capcom: MHPortable Switch reveal. Hence the extra 5 minutes for the Japan direct.
Platinum: Bayo 1+2 Switch, W101+W102 announced.
Konami: *crickets*
Sega: Can we have some Atlus Switch please?
Ubisoft: Guillemot said there where still games left to announce so probably here. South Park seems likely.
Bethesda: Fallout 3 or 4, DOOM?
Activision/Blizzard: Modern Warfare Switch, Heartstone.
Rockstar: fuck it. Let's go for broke and say GTA 5 Switch.

I would think most if not all of the Tokyo team is polishing Odyssey right now but who knows? I doubt it will be announced here though.
Did we ever find out what Koichi Hayashida is working on? I know he became a producer after 3D World but he hasn't been mentioned in any Odyssey videos/interviews as far as I know. It's all been Koizumi. I mean, he could still be working on Odyssey but I was just curious.
Would be interesting to see how they get round the lack of an always available touch screen when docked.

At least in concept. I'm not sure what major new additions they could come up with to justify one. I feel like the first had enough levels to exhaust the main ideas.

But I think Bayonetta/101 ports are more likely.
How big is the possibility that EA announces The Sims 4 for Switch? I think it would sell like hot cakes to be able to have a portable Sims game that can also be played on the big screen.
Otherwise I have no high hopes for this Direct. Hopefully Nintendo will announce Wario as a playable character for Odyssey

Your comparison of Ubisoft and Fry Cry is hardly the same thing when as said Konami has a history of porting games from that franchise over to Nintendo systems

I guess it's about the mgs3 port on 3DS. It's quite a big generalization... But again I don't see what's so incredible about the idea of a metal gear game on the switch. I don't think it'll happen though.

Xenoblade 2, Xenoblade X2 and a brand new IP all are releasing this year !
Now check how many Metal Gear titles were released in total, and how many of those were released on Nintendo games. And it's also questionable that releases on NES, GBC or GameCube are relevant when making release decision today. The latest Final Fantasy game isn't coming to Switch either despite the franchise launching on NES and SNES.
Ubisoft also had FarCry on Wii by the way, if that's what you're going by.
