Probably been discussed in other threads, but what about legal implications of being forced to unlock your phone? Seems much easier for the police to shove your phone near your face to unlock it, rather than a password or pressing your finger on a button.

i guess that's why they added the feature in iOS 11 that allows you to disable touchID (or faceID) by tripletapping the lock button.
