If you're a Iphone 7 owner there is very little reason to upgrade this year.

I don't feel enthusiasm for the Iphone X no matter how much they emphasize how great it is. It doesn't sound appealing.

I really like having all the photos on my phone. But I have more than 50gb of them. :/ I really don't want to pay for a 256gb version.

I downgraded to a 32GB for the 7 and started using Amazon Prime photos.

So I just store all of my photos in the cloud now.

I for one love the design of the iPhone X. The back looks super clean in white with the black front, it's so so good. Even the 8 looks a lot better than the 7 thanks to the glass.

I'm mad because as a dark-skinned black person, it's important to be able to sell Face ID to someone like me because most of the time, that shit won't work. Snapchat has the hardest time trying to find my face in natural lighting. You can't expect me to believe this will be better without showing me.

I mean they explained that it's not using light. It's using a combination of infrared, dots projected on your face, creating a map of your face with a neural network.

The color of your skin will have zero impact on it.

- it’s a pretty phone, and the screen looks nice.
- the fairly large black borders diminish the 'all bezel' claim
- I honestly don’t see how they justify a $300 premium.

In the future the X is going to be a godlike phone, and for photography right now both the X and the 8 are looking damn good.

If I was in the market for a new phone this year I would be pretty tempted to go for an X in truth, but there are certainly a few compromises that I'd like to see addressed in a future model.

New watch seemed damn tempting too, shame about o2 in the UK.
