I played this solo and it felt like a proper campaign, almost halo lite.

Yeah, I corrected it, my mistake.

The 100,000 Clan XP cap makes it so smaller clans can compete.

It only takes 20 members to hit that cap, less if each member has more than one character

Shadowstalker and Arcstrider have a lot of survivability options. Shadowstalker also brings CC utility with their smoke grenade and Super. Gunslinger is a bit less impressive beyond the mad damage you can get using Celestial Nighthawk.

Ok, maybe we're confusing something

There is Personal Clan XP which caps at 5000 per character (which contribute towards Clan XP)
and Clan XP which caps at 100,000 last week and every week. The Clan XP bar wouldn't fill up if you were at cap 100,000

To clear things up, my first post was in response to this:

weird...I've just joined a clan and accepted the banner and all that...but I'm getting 0 Clan XP from doing Public Events...still just says 0 earned

Which seems to be to be talking about Personal Contribution (The XP out of 5000 per week).

As far as I'm aware PEs and open world activities do not add to personal contribution to Clan XP.

the arc soul ability gives the team a lttle shooter bot that will shoot immediately when it the opponent is in range...it's basiclly like have two people shoot at you at once....even worse when it enabled for the whole team...

Store them if you like them. You could always upgrade them with a stronger pair you don't like in the future. Do they have a +5 by any chance? It would just mean a bigger payoff when you do infuse them if you choose a pair without a +5 mod to infuse with.

Tbh you could do it now if you want them stronger. Can always do it again in the future I think. Not seen any indication of it being a one time deal yet.

The boots single handedly redeem the great Hunter nerf of 2017.
Will be a must have for the raid.

Nightwalker was already in the running for best subclass alone. But with those boots it IS the best subclass.

They changed the fucking soft cap of blues from 259 to 249. Nothing is dropping over 250. 90% of the drops are 249.

I fucking knew it. No reason to do patrols or public events now.

If it has a +5 mod on it already. Otherwise you could place one on it even further down the line. I have a couple already but at 280 you can start swapping in blue mods for +5 purple mods.

I love Uriel's Gift and Origin Story Auto Rifles, Tone Patrol Scout is great too.

Nightstalker is best class for PvE with keen scout+ 9 mobility + MIDA. You move so fast and are able to see all chests and materials. If there's a public event you help a lot crowd controlling with your super and create tons of orbs.

I'm at 218 and have only been going up 1-2 light every like, hour? What should I be doing right now? So far I've just been circling around the EDZ/Io/Nessus trying to do public events, but it's so dead that I end up waiting 5 minutes for them to start and then barely scraping through with the max allotted time.

At this rate it's going to take me like 40 hours to hit 260, and I kind of wanted to hit 260 like, in the next 6-8 hours.

Im wrapping up D1 right now and just spent my first 45 minutes or so in the Rise of Iron patrol... i pretty much fucking hated it. I think im done with D1.

So is the patrol experience completely fresh in D2?? Does it feel similar at all? Because i dont think i ever want to do patrol activities ever again...

Why doesn't Bungie just drop the fucking pretense and making solo matchmaking disabled in crucible? First they make every mode 4v4 which places an insane amount of importance on team cohesion and the matchmaking is just as stupid as Destiny 1 where every game is a total blow out.

I've been trying to solo matchmake for 30 minutes now and it's game after game after game being thrown into a team getting obliterated and people leaving. How you go from basically starting online console multiplayer with Halo 2 to this is beyond me.

Just to everybody who wants to Raid

Do all the Powerful Gear milestones.

Go do Exotic Quests, try to pump up those Power Levels

Do it this way, so your Raid drops will always be the only Regards guaranteed to drop above your levels no matter what until cap.

So if you got 3 Guardians, you've got a fuckton of Milestones to do before Raid hits @1pm EDT.



Also I need to join a Group who's willing to have me for the Raid right as it launches.
