Game Grumps (aka Egoraptor plays some games)

The Grey's Anatomy episode was amazing.

I used to watch the show back then. I wish I had a copy of that game. It'd make an interesting conversation piece.

Oh god. This latest Larry episode.

I was originally on board with them going all the way, but I'm now starting to think it's perfectly fine if they end this.

Haha, I don't think I'd want to see the whole game. I'll be perfectly fine with them returning to Paper Mario or Zelda's Adventure or whatever other series they're in the middle of right now.

Wait, they're playing the Dog Island? Props to them, then. I may have to watch them for the first time in years!

EDIT: I forgot I was pointed to a few of their Sonic Boom videos by friends, so it wasn't as long as I initially thought since I've watched a Grumps episode. But it has been since I watched an entire playthrough.

RIP Leisure Suit Larry, you were too good for us.
At least it went out with a bang.

On another note, out of curiosity I tried Googling for an uncensored video of that sex scene and I couldn’t find it. I found every other girl but not the marching band girl. lol

They should go back to Mario Maker, do some of the two year anniversary levels
This! More Mario Maker. Seems the only place I can get a Mario Maker fix these days is Dashie on Saturdays since Dan Rykert and Patrick Keplek aren’t feuding anymore. (I miss Mario Maker Mornings)

Is this Dashie guy at the same general "average" (to be generous) level of skill as Arin or Patrick? Those streams are lots of fun as long as you like the people playing. These days though I mostly watch the people with actual skill that are creating and beating kaizo levels like Carlsagan and Grandpoobear.

Watching people who are amazing at these levels isn't any fun. I want to watch people having frustration until they finally get it. Or don't.

Super Beard Bros. used to play too. Well Jirard did. And with those levels he didn't have the luxury of using save states.

Professionals are boring.

Yeah, I think I'm finally done with them for good. The amount of manbaby tantrums and yelling of sonic gotta go fast and how it's a shitty level because you're not going fast even though it's a remake of the same stage in sonic 3. It's become such a parody of itself that it's become painful to watch.

I knew erin would hate the game if he got further into it as the level design gets more complex and some of the gimmicks are annoying. I personally think the game is the best sonic in a long time but also overrated.

i'll be honest

I don't like the dog island or the sonic mania playthroughs

I don't mind the Mania playthrough, but I haven't seen any of Dog Island, even from the beginning.

I'm rewatching Arin's solo MMX playthrough on the side. I love the episodes where they get deep and shit, and this playthrough is full of it.

It's been half a decade, why would his sonic whining hit you now?

I started watching Game Grumps recently... I don't know, it's very frustrating to watch. They really suck at the games, and not very funny.

In case you're wondering, I watched their Deadly Creatures play through. I kind stuck with it because I enjoyed seeing their excitement of not knowing who they were playing as at first. Now I watched their Castlevania Dracula X and... geez it's bad. They also somehow made Breath of the Wild look even more boring.

I'm sure someone has a list of the "good" playthroughs to watch, but certainly three are probably more consistent LPers out there... But a lot of people have personal attachments to Egoraptor and Danny Sexbang from NSP and thus more tolerant.

Sneak King is amazing.

And if you want a "good" play through of theirs to watch, off the top of my head, Super Mario 3D World.

Scratch that, ANY Mario game really. Sunshine is classic. Mario 64 is great. The 2D Mario games are excellent. Especially 2 which was Danny's first series. (One of his two first series') But 3D World is just Danny co-op at his best.

I don't really watch for how good they play, just for the comedy. If they make me laugh about something or make me interested on whatever they are talking, then I'm gold.

Arin and Dan suck, SUCK, at most games, lol. But there are several games that they are good at, for example, Super Mario Bros. 3 was all right, if I remember correctly). There must be a "good' list, as The Real Abed says. I hope.

Really got excited when The Dog Island made a comeback!

I've made a list before. Somewhere in this thread. I dunno where it is now. But I'm not kidding about Mario. They're at their best with Mario.

Their two recent challenge series' are really funny too.

Kinda surprised to see Dan consistently being the Grump on their Contra 3 playthrough so far. I've also been enjoying the hell out of that Sneak King playthrough so far too. Hope they keep that one going for awhile longer.

The funny thing is, I don't remember Contra 3 being all that hard. I mean, sure, it's a Contra game and still somewhat difficult, but I don't recall it being Battletoads-level hard or anything.

Level 3 onward can get pretty hairy, but the first two levels where he was being the saltiest really are not that hard at all. Also lol at the refusal to believe people like it and it's a classic when the episode comes out immediately after Contra 3's release on the SNES classic.

I wouldn't know either way, as I never got to play a Contra game. lol I'm just surprised to see Dan being the one that's so salty and Arin being unusually calm/eager to keep playing.

I looked up some info on Contra 3 after the episode yesterday. From what I was able to gather it seems that it's liked well-enough, but the game is filled with a bunch of dopey Mode 7 gimmicks that drag it down a bit.

Contra 4 was 2hard4me.
Really? I was able to beat it and it was the 1st Contra game I played.

I wonder if the grumps would play through Cuphead

it seems right up their alley
I expect a lot of deaths in that one.

Have you played it on Hard mode?

I bet it will happen sooner or later. It's a.) well-animated, which Arin will like, and b.) ridiculously hard*, which will make Arin rage.

Although, have they ever played an Xbox One game? Do they even have an Xbox One? (I guess they could go buy one if they wanted.) If they play it on PC, does it become the return of Steam Train?

*That's what I hear, at least. I own it, but I haven't had time to play it at all.
