The Cat Lady
Oh shit. I didn't actually know about this. I found The Cat Lady from a Ragnarrox video and loves it. I'm definitely gonna pick this up.This dev also made a game called Downfall, which also deals with mental health issues but the game is more horror-esque and bizarre.
Good game.
Mentioning Alan wake 2 instead of the first in the series should be bannable offenseAlan Wake II
Mass Effect Trilogy
Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding
Halo, specifically the Humans and other intelligent species, unlike John, Humans have made a lot of mistakes
Doom Eternal
The Witcher III
The Evil Within
Resident Evil
Fallout
The Chant
Silent Hill
Gears 5
Dead Space
The original Walking Dead 1 & 2
Portal
Max Payne.
Would Spec Ops: The Line count?
If it had been exclusive to Xbox at first, instead of PlayStation, he'd be calling it a masterpiece. He's not taking Xbox giving up well.I guess i'm crazy, i feel FF16 is one of the best FF imo.
Didn't get the chance to play this game, for clarification, and it's too late for me to play it. It sucks for me when games visuals age terribly.Mentioning Alan wake 2 instead of the first in the series should be bannable offense
Are you on console, because it still looks great on pc. I recall it getting a remaster, but even the og game looks good when cranked up.Didn't get the chance to play this game, for clarification, and it's too late for me to play it. It sucks for me when games visuals age terribly.
you have to be stupid to think it's bad tho
Glad to see my mission was a success!I'll have to think about this but I'm still trying to get over laughing over the OPs username.
the first Darkness, with also a chapter into an asylum
also Shadowman, and the first Condemned
One of the best games of the past decade….depending on the type of games you likeI'll second Celeste. It's not super in-your-face, but still has a potent message about mental health. Plus, the platforming is just sublime.
I've heard good things about Disco Elysium, but I've never played it.
I think there are plenty of those games, like for example we can see Senua Sacrifice, or Silent Hill 2 as well as other gemsAs the topic title suggests, I'm really curious what games you've played that left a lasting impression on you long after playing with regard to the subject of mental health or at least those which involves home care philadelphia https://www.newcenturypa.com/ (within any relevant context). Also looking for new recommendations.
For me, playing the original Hellblade with surround sound headphones was a uniquely unnerving experience, as it dealt with Senua struggling with her psychosis. The game stuck with me more so due to my own personal experiences with psychosis and bipolar disorder.
How has nobody said Omori? Maybe I missed it. I HIGHLY recommended this one, OP.

It has the best take on mental health issues I have ever seen portrayed in a game. Depression, anxiety, isolation, trauma, PTSD, guilt, suicide, escapism, grief, etc. It touches on some of the most common mental health issues and is extremely relatable. It doesn't matter who you are, it'll speak to you. The visuals, story, characters, music, worlds, etc. are insanely captivating. I totally lost myself in it. If you're fond of games like Earthbound it'll be your favorite game of all time, but you should definitely still check it out even it if you're not. I cried in the endI really can't think of a game that made me emotional like that. For real though this game is very special. It's one of the best examples of indie gaming.
