I don't like this signing, mostly because Fuck Bogut. And id rather be giving Bryant and Zubac the PT. He'll probably miss like 60 games w/injuries anyway.
Honestly, it sounds like a flyer to see if he's capable at all of playing, and tthen seeing if they can get like a secound round pick from a contender for him later down the line.
Priorities should be on Zubaz though, although im not as big of a fan as you guys (He needs to bulk up big time if he wants to be a starter in the league.)

I'm guessing you're joking, but I think your first sentence rings true. A lot of the asshole fans out there would probably end up doing even weirder shit if they were getting bombarded every day by a legion of anonymous crazies.
The psychology of this is actually interesting to me. You can tell KD struggles with being accepted and puts a lot of value (too much) into what people think of him. It's a part of fame that he probably doesn't deal with as well as others.
