Looks like about 15-18 in front of me at target. Im only annoyed because i need to get 2 today. One is for my friend who has a morning shift so i guess im going to best buy after this.
Oh shit number 19 of 41, honestly want to call my friend to come now to get in line before he has to work.

It starts

Lol, good luck with that lady. The price on Ebay is $150-160ish, and I imagine it will drop to 110-120ish for a bit with the huge influx of scalpers before going back up some (maybe $200 if Nintendo sucks horribly and never restocks until Black Friday and then 2018 but I sincerely doubt that).

I hope we all get them soon <3

Mine is going to a Parcel Motel (I'm in Ireland) and I won't get a chance to go until Sunday as I'm going to Chris Rock tomorrow night. Swings and Roundabouts :)

In line at walmart, about 30 people ahead of me with 30mins to go.

Regardless of what happens I know I'll get one from eb games. Would be nice to get one for me nephew.

Got to 8am open Target at 5.30am in Queens, NY (Elmhurst location). Employee came out earlier saying they have "a lot". It's a central location so hoping he's right!

Edit: got to the line with over 40 people in front of me

I was first in line at my Walmart at 4 am. Ended up being 8 of us by store opening at 6 am. Great success! So excited to get the work day over with now. Good luck to everyone else.

Dallas- GAF checking in. I just arrived at my local Target which is suppose to have 41 units and Inaplear to be he first person here at 5:30am! A slight drizzle is happening now.

I stopped by my Wal-Mart last night at 8:30pm and there was 3 people in line then. I when back up there at 10:45pm, and they already had 31 people in line— sold out.

I’m at a Northern California Target at 334 local time, they open at 8. Only person in line...the manager wouldn’t give me an exact number, but he said they have multiple 10s of them.

Good thing I wake up early for work anyway.

At the Target in Ann Arbor, MI. There are 8 of us in line, the first arrived here at 5am ish. I got here at 6:15 ish.

No word on how many yet (brickseek doesn't say).

I hope they have tons of stock and this lady gets burned, fuck these people

Walmart still says preparing order......come the fuck on

She will get burnt if people don't panic and wait. I'm quite certain that even if initial shipment is not enough, there will be enough stock later.

Roughly 15-20 people in line at Target in Columbus near OSU. Guy just came out and said they have "plenty" but didn't give a specific number.

In line outside a Walmart in STL, about 13 of us with 27 units in stock. Didn't sleep at ALL last night thanks to anxiety, hope i dont run into anything too complicated today at work!

For reference store opens at 6, I got here around 515

Just decided to go for it as a back up for my physical stuff. In line at Best Buy, Houston GAF @ Gulfgate. Looks like I'm like number 5 out of 12 or so.

No tickets yet.

Here's the line in Barnwell SC.

Lol. Supposed to be 18 units here. I'll see how many they have and how many they'll let me grab.

So was in my local Gamestop yesterday, I had pre-ordered the SNES Classic when it was announced and I had it fully paid off but had lost the receipt so I just wanted to get a duplicate for when I was picking up the game today. I asked the guy behind the counter if he knew how many the store would be getting and he said he didn't know.

Got up this morning, drove to the store, asked to pick up my console and was told that it didn't arrive in and that I'm not on top of "the list" to get one. He then said that if someone doesn't turn up today that they would ring me and let me know that I could pick one up. He said the next batch would be in early October sometime around the 10th, but more than likely I wouldn't receive one until mid-December if not January.

I have no issue with the console being out of stock already, it's just how the store treats the customer. They have my email, they have both my home and mobile number, and yet no contact? Even just an email saying "Hey, sorry about this but your order didn't come in, we'll keep you posted" Something just as simple as that. Just totally unprofessional.

Got one at 6am from Walmart. They had 30 and there were 20 people in line. They limited to 1 per person. Was orderly.

People in Electronics were on the ball.

Glad I decided to make a last minute trip there

well i got mine and we spend an hour with it. mostly DK and SMW. it's perfect, love the controllers!

stay strong, you'll eventually get yours too. it will be a great evening.

Walmart 24 hour went smoothly and got one. Currently at best buy with 10 mins till ticket hand out. Going to snag one for my friend who couldn't get off today.

That's not how preorders work. You aren't on some kind of first come first served list. Your console is held to the side outside of normal stock, which is why in store pre-order numbers were kept small. Escalate this.

Side edit: IF YOURE WILLING TO SAY YOURE IN SOUTH FLORIDA, NORTH NEBRASKA, EAST HAWAII, WEST WHEREVER, BE SPECIFIC. YOUR BROAD STROKE COMMENT ISNT HELPING YOUR FELLOW GAFFER FIND A CONSOLE.

Is Target still looking like the best option for getting one at opening hours? Going to ask my dad to stop at the nearest one at 7:30, half an hour before they open.

I’m hoping it isn’t a Walmart situation where they hadn’t received their stock and have no idea where it went (Miami, FL).

Just got past Vanilla Dome on Super Mario World :)

I wasn't convinced by the D-pad when I first held the controller but it responds beautifully on SMW. Will try SFII later.

The short cable is a real pain in the arse though.

Walmart.com shipped my unit yesterday via FEDEX Smartpost.

As someone who used to do a ton of commerce for work....hybrid shipping methods cost about 10% less than the standard ground but take 2-3 extra days.

If theres one thing id love to eliminate, its smartpost/surepost from FEDEX/UPS.

Very annoying, but I'm very glad I was able to get one.

Meh. If people are more curious they can PM people for specific locations.
