I didnt preorder so I went to stores trying to get one.
Ended up with a Switch and BOTW instead.
I didnt want to go home empty-handed.
What is wrong with me?
Even with the Fuzzy issue, Yoshi Island is one of the best looked games. I forgot how much i loved fooling around monkeys in world 3.
Anyone with an 8bitdo SFC30 controller and retro receiver got them working with the SNES Mini? Ive managed to get the controller pairs, but with the latest firmware on he receiver it didnt recognise the X and Y buttons as being distinct from others and with the 1.05 beta 0 firmware someone on reddit recommended the buttons work but the d pad doesnt now.
It hasnt been that long since I played through Super Metroid...but I cant rememebr which controller settings I prefer.
Shit. None of them feel right.
I'm more curious how that math adds up to 23 units lol
Didn't realize this had wireless connectivity. Does the Switch Pro controller work? Too bad the dpad is jank.
It totally doesn't. Why would you think otherwise?Didn't realize this had wireless connectivity. Does the Switch Pro controller work? Too bad the dpad is jank.

We got a total 23 with 2 persons at Walmart midnight launch andand then 3 Walmart 7am launch and Best Buy.
Could be more but we didnt preorder and don't ask me why I need 23.
The 8bitdo ones connect to a separate dongle. That dongle only works properly on the NES Classic right now, but they're supposedly working on an update to make it work on the SNES, too.Shit. I saw all these third party controllers supported posts and figured they put Bluetooth in this thing. Oh well, looks like I'm gaming 5 feet from my screen like the good ol' days
Not that anyone cares, but i went to walmart last night at 11pm and waited until 12 and got one. I did get nervous because there was about 15 to 16 people ahead of me and some of them were buying two systems a piece...
But i did walk out of wally world with the crown jewel ....

Ooh, is it because you wanted to make sure that tons of people who wanted to buy them from the story would be unable to do so so you could make some spare money?
Try a different HDMI cable first.Weird, I just hooked it up and started playing Super Mario World, and the audio is popping in and out. The main menu music plays with out a hitch but not in the game. Any ideas?
Beats me. Someone said the manual says to unplug it after turning it off. Was the NES classic the same way? Did anyone have issues leaving it plugged in?Wait, you shouldn't leave it plugged in after shutting down? Just unplug it? What'll happen if it's plugged in 24/7
If by spare money you mean feeding my family of 4 including 2 babies.

So, I got one from the Truck today and I'm thinking of keeping it (if not, it goes to my friend for cost calm down GAF) Can anyone speak me out of my jaded attitude of not using an emulator on PC to play my games upscaled and what not? I'm super tempted to keep it
I never got my hands on an NES Classic so having the SNES is mind blowing to me vs chase Holy Shit it's so small and adorable!
Also, I totally forgot in EU we got a design more in line with the JP version in comparison to the US one, the US one is kinda ugly.
So I've searched some of this thread trying to figure out the best mode/setting to play these on (Pixel Perfect, 4:3, CRT). Is there any consensus as to what is best? Or will it vary game to game or person to person?
How do you use save states? I'm playing SMW right now if it matters.
When you reset the console, the last point in the last game you played will be available at the bottom of the screen.
Still, if the problem happens with the game again, try the included cable. It's perfect for me.I took the cable that was attached to my switch, it was fine there.
And for kicks I reset it and tried out Kirby, the music is fine. Maybe a hiccup?
Whoa sweet. So I don't have to do anything? It'll continue from exactly where I am? Actually I'm gonna go test it right now.... thanks.
8/25 Walmart preorder finally shipped. No email confirmation. Hold fast, my friends. You should hopefully see yours shipped soon. Just keep checking your order periodically.
Yet you have the cashflow to buy over 400 ipads...
I am not bragging but I once bought 400+ Ipads all on my own and I felt proud
I thought the controller cord length was 5ft this time? Or was that bs, lol.I'm disappointed by the length of all the cables. You pretty much need to hook this up to a PC monitor and play it at a desk, or have a couch that's 3-4 feet away from the TV. :/
