Then what is it? Get outta here with that rhetoric, so we can focus on the real points of this tragedy. America has its problems, no denying, but it's still a First World country.
Well maybe you should put an asterisk next to it.

Man, that video on their main page...
Alrighty GAF. Finally made it back to our hotel safe and going to crash out for the night.
That was quite the first day in Vegas.
Not american here. But that 'god bless you' at the end feels very wrong in this case.
biggest shooting in US history and we get a god bless you from our leader. I dont have words for how I feel about what happened
Missing the point. I see this taking the direction of talking about fully-automatic weapons which are already heavily regulated, and is a complete misdirection. Given the nature of this shooting, it could not have been prevented the shooter from killing dozen+ people if he instead only had legally-acquired weaponry.
Gives 300 shooting victims, 50 dead, the same respect normal people give to a sneeze. Is that the best he can do? God bless ya?
Christ almighty

Jesus, this is just awful to read about. How the hell did he manage to kill so many people?! It's absolutely insane.
Yep, LOL, only a term Americans use.lol ok, we are "first world". a meaningless term that only americans use.
Unsurprisingly that Breitbart endorsed veripedia link was completely incorrect.
Imagine the reaction if the shooter had been a brown guy
But everything is cool, 'cause it's just some old white guy.
Why does he have such awkwardness with language? Warmest condolences sounds so odd, to me at least. You send warm wishes on a birthday. Those two words together just sound odd.

This is totally insane.Holy shit, the narrative on the youtube video on that site is bordering on full blown psychosis.
'Rekindle the flame of the patriots and the founding fathers', 'reclaim your birthright' - what? By being able to shoot lead at 600 RPM?
I can't even begin to describe how utterly insane it is to hear these things. America's utter obsession with the flag and guns is sickening.
And then you realize this shit gets drilled into kids' minds from kindergarten. They don't know better.
He reportedly shot more than 250 people in a minute.
You don't need firepower like that for hunting.
Or home defense.
Or self defense.
How the fuck is it a misdirection?
I look forward to the callous brushing away of 50 (probably more soon) lives by ghoulish gun activists who would rather keep their big dick ego compensators than prevent shit like this from happening.
What angle will they take this time? Maybe not enough guns? Or his gun was illegal therefore it wouldn't have mattered? Or guns are tools? What a myriad of meaningless bullshit choices.
The damage has been done. A bunch of their followers probably still think It is him. Twitter bots and trolls will still continue to spread this FUD.Is it wrong that I have a huge grin on my face from reading all the alt-right jackasses deleting their tweets after the left wing guy who listened to MSNBC, Maddow etc, they accused was found not to be involved? Fucking idiots.

Nows not the time to dogpile on the societal shortcomings that America has; were certainly not the only country with its fair share of problems. The narrative should be focused on the tragedy and how it can be prevented in the future.

From my memory, it only lasted around a minute according to eye witness reports.
It's unfortunate but that's what happens when things like that become a common occurence.
We have brown people terrorizing different countries every two weeks or so in Europe for some time and they barely make the news now if the death toll isn't high enough. Not even thinking about some counter measures.
Hopefully at least America can sort their gun laws.
My thoughts go to everyone affected. Stay strong.
