There was no other way this could go. Dead Orbit was always destined to win, which is unfortunate. They'll likely win next time, too, because they've got a really good auto rifle that should be up for sale.
Guiding Star seems really good and I think people are going to be super horny for it.

Good perks but shit stats :\
I want to know why some archetypes of guns just have horrible stats. Looking at those 540 pulses like Lincoln Green that have horrible stats in literally every slot. Like, at least make some of those stats at least half full. They're all like 30-40 out of 100.
Monochromatic gives too much white depending on gear. DO shaders actually makes the majority of the gear black.

I think metro city is probably the best "black" shader. I say black because in reality it is a very dark blue but in game it looks like a black wetsuit.

I thought this is basic logic, I don't get (besides jokingly) the idea is wanting any faction to win. For me it was

I'd hope they'd take a hint from Splatfest did and make it so the less popular factions have their tokens count for more to keep things competitive.
Though I can at least see merit in letting the first rally be clean. Probably wanted to see how Weapons Selection would affect the turnout, if at all.

It doesn't actually matter if Dead Orbit always win. It's just a bit of fun anyway. We all pick our side and go grinding for gear. I got all the FWC guns and armour last week, it was a cool event.
And now we can mock each other for being on the wrong team. It's good fun.

Yeah, I was kinda hoping that there was going to be more to them this go around. Seems to be a really untapped area of Destiny's lore/story. I think it would be cool as hell to do a PVP event where you represent each faction and can only be in matchmaking with others that pledge to the same faction or something.

Is Outlaw bugged I feel like sometimes the perk does t activate when I get a kill in PvP. Does it have an internal CD?

This is an old pic (I have a different helm and cloak on me nowadays) but here's my hunter with most of the gear having Monochromatic on it. Cloak doesn't have it cause no shader will get rid of that cyan on the trials cloak and the helm has Metro Shift from what I can remember (I ran out of Monochromatic at the time).

but yes, I did go DO strictly for the shaders. Next time around I'll go NM for those shaders. Until they make some adjustments there are very few guns worth having nowadays.

Fact of the matter is I just need to stock up on solid black shaders. They just look real good to me. I don't think I'm an edgelord, haha. Guns come second for me. And tbh, which one of those winning guns was really gonna replace any of our favorites? Pulses are in a really bad place right now, and that sidearm didn't look like anything special either.

A special Rally specific strike might be a good way to give those faction leaders exposure. Depending on who your character is pledged to you get different VO. I know don't if this is even doable in the engine,but rename the enemies for the player based on their faction too. Something like Dead Orbit player see Fallen titled as House of Kings, while New Monarchy set House of Wolves. Whatever makes sense for each respective faction.

Its probably buried in this thread somewhere, but how do you get rid of the hud chat overlay in the top left corner? It literally covers my radar, and I dont know how to disable it lol

Did flashpoint, caydes chest, and got an exotic from each as well as one from a heroic event. Go to decrypt, every single one is a fighting lion launcher...yea im done for today.

265 is the "soft cap", meaning blues & (most) legendary engrams will drop a few levels below your current level -- in your case, at 274, blues & what not will probably be dropping around 268/269, so don't pay too much attention to them unless it's a gun you want.
Each week you get milestones (they're always the same aside from doing this on a different planet) -- pull up the map, hold down L2, & you will see them on the left side of the screen. You'll notice some of them have rewards that will read "powerful engrams", these (& exotics) are what you want to progress to & beyond 280.
If you haven't completed the exotic quests in the game yet, those will scale to your PL when you get them (scale meaning they will drop higher than your current PL).
If you aren't in a clan, I'd recommend joining one as the weekly rewards you get for completing this & that also scale past your current PL.
Reset was today, so you have a fresh slate of activities to do this week. Hopefully the above wasn't too confusing & you'll be able to gain a few levels this week, RNG pending!
Regarding your Nightfall inquiry, ask in here again the next time you're on & free, I'm sure you will find someone to help. I like to think you weren't ignored this morning, it was more a case of it would be impossible to run the NF with you that low of a level.

And no class item again this week for my Hunter who is stuck at 304 PL because of it thus any Exotic Engrams this week will again be 304 PL and Legendaries at 299 PL on that character.
Just remove the idiotic PL on class items just as you did on the Ghosts.
My Titan and Warlock continue to look down on my favorite class.
