This NF was piss easy for me. One and done. I was 301 light, and did the never can die build with the Skull. Devour for days.

Whoever came up with this weeks one is a sadistic fucking bastard.

How the hell is prestige even possible?
 
so been stuck around 280 power.

think i've played all the strikes (3?). but that looks like all the content there is left besides nightfall and raid to power up? i have a bunch of adventures i never finished left are those pretty much useless in terms of gear?

Not really, it may not be Prism again; that was due to momentum being bugged.

Prestige is easy enough, just annoying (as most of them are).

Take it slow, clear adds and get all the anomalies, you have plenty of time.

I'd guess it will still be fairly easy and most likely easier than the others regarding finishing with 5 minutes left.

That said, I hope they change up the modifiers completely and the Nightfalls play differently compared to the first go-around but I won't be surprised if they're exactly the same sans for changing the modifier due to a previous bug.

Trials is second place. Riskrunner is no bueno in PvP.

Yes. Do milestones instead.
 
I decided to give Guided Games another try for fun after running across 2 260 noobs on the weekend who bailed out cause i was "going too fast" LMAO.

Ran across this 2 guardians who are from DGAF! So thanks for the run guys, GG!

Thanks to that nightfall my hunter got the last piece to complete the 305 trio, so i'm done with the game until i find a challenge or actual content gets released for it.

Decided to load up Destiny and get the weekly Age of Triumph boxes... man... going back to it now really highlights what a better game Destiny 1 is. I'm so disappointed in D2 =(
 
I get everything from legendary engrams except fusion rifles.. Maybe Bungie is trolling me becuase I want to upgrade my Merciless.
 
Man, Nightfalls in this game just aren't as much fun as they were in D1. They had a really good chance to make them interesting while maintaining the difficulty for the Prestige version, but the new modifiers are lame and enemies take way too much damage.
 
Me and a friend want to do raid on Xbox. We only made it to the pools beforehand. Anyone wanna run the raid? I am at 300 light and he js 286.

Yeah I definitely had more fun with d1 night falls.

I did a few guided games with this last NF and in one I got matched with these guys trying to get the rat king. We finished with about 4 minutes left and one of them threw a fit at about the 6 minute mark telling me to fuck off and such knowing we weren't going to beat it in time. Why the hell are people like this acting as guides??

Edit joke was on him I finally got my Curtain Call from that NF. Thanks douche.

I still haven't beaten one. I did them regularly in D1, but the time mechanics are a huge turn-off for me. Got a little ways into one with a friend a few weeks ago, and noped out of it.


Right now I'm just hoping on each week for Ikora's challenges and the Flashpoint. :\
 
Have there been any scientific studies on exotic engrams and their contents? I mean, you can preview an exotic engram, and see what you might get - but what you see in the preview changes after a while. I tried yesterday and got one of the items that were in the preview.

I think the Sunrise challenge for D1 Nightfalls was a good compromise. Beat it in a certain amount of time for a better reward. I'm not a big fan of the forced time limits and the time recovery mechanics aren't particularly interesting.

So me and my cousins used to play d1 all the time. They loved playing destiny, but they suck at fps games. They have fun, but they are just no good at fps. We were still able to do NF in destiny 1 because we just took our time and team shot every mob one by one and slowly cleared out areas before moving onto the next.

My cousins live in texas and doing the NF in destiny 1 was something we looked forward to,
But we cant do that anymore because of the timer.

I still have other people to do NF with, but it's not the same.

That preview means nothing, you can get something that's not in the preview.
