Yeah GGXrd unfortunately suffers from anime-style animation that I don't like. Frame skipping doesn't look good to me.
I like Raven's stuff because it seems less noticeable.
Can't say I'm a fan of it either. I understand why they do it, but I still don't like it. It doesn't work as well for video games as it does for animation.
Isn't this what many GOTY versions do? DLC codes for post-launch support.
I can't speak for current-gen GOTY editions since I haven't bought a single one on console so far, but last generation most of the ones I owned had a second disc with all the DLC on it, at least on 360 (I assume on PS3 it all came on one disc because of blu-ray).
In fact, it made it super easy among my friends to share DLC; just borrow the extra disc, download the content from it, and you're golden. I assume that's part of the reason most GOTY editions these days are codes instead.
