Can i customise the controls to not use R2 for the gas?

Not sure about in game, but you can customise buttons on a system level in the PS4 settings under 'accessability'. It applies the changes to everything.

Once you have remapped you can turn it on/off easily using the quick menu (holding the PS button).

When's the best lap to pit? I notice that the 458 that you're chasing at the start of the race ends up pitting on Lap 2, but I seem to have enough fuel an additional lap. While the top 2 drivers have enough fuel for four laps before they have to pit.

I pit on the very first lap. Stop fuelling at 4.1 remaining laps but have the dodge viper up my backside the last lap. Had to hold him off.

Importing decals is in. They have to be SVG format, and you upload them to the GT site to add them to your library. It's not available in the demo though. Making liveries should be super easy now.

I don't have a lot of time tonight so I only had a quick look around, but i'm very impressed with the presentation. I won't get it day 1 since I have other, more single player focused racers to finish, but i'm in.

Just got the demo downloaded. Driving school takes quite a while to load for such a short circuit.

However, I've had a blast in arcade mode on the rally course with my G29. The game plays and feels so much better than Forza 7 on my PC.

9n the display settings I noticed it says 2k output mode, prioritise frame rate. This option is blacked out. It said 4k hdr when I first set it up. Does it mean I'm on the correct higher resolution mode?

PS4 pro Owners on 1080p, which mode are you playing it on? I am having a hard time choosing between 4K downsample and Frame Rate, on the bright side replays look stunning at 60fps, but there's something off from gameplay perspective at high frame rate mode.
