Damn..up to 13 now wow. I got to check it out.
I am Chinese I generally like to play the Chinese versions just so it feels more authentic haha. I do like the old classics better too...they were just more charming and less complicated but more focused on certain aspects.

Gamergate was so long groomed as THE enemy that some people here just see it everywhere when they see something they dislike. Gamergate is some vile shit, but it's not at fault for everything, certainly not for evilore mishandling the situation or PoliGAF running rampant with their Clinton push.
And I can tell you many of those also weren't made by the kind of people that want to join ERA (as you can tell by the number of juniors with barely any posts that did it), and people joining ERA mostly come from the communities which you can literally check right now and see people are mostly leaving peacefully. Calling every single person that wants to join it "cunts" is ridiculous, as well as being the exact thing that poster claimed to be against. Not only that, have you checked the thread where he called people who wanted to join "cunts"?

The "experience" I have encountered with nearly every suicide thread and all over twitter, are threats, insults, disgusting pornographic images about Tyler, this forum and myself.
This has left a sour taste in my mouth, because I feel people are only leaving because they are trying to destroy Tyler and neogaf because they have in their minds that he is 100 percent guilty, they aint leaving for a vacation, they are leaving out of spite towards the owner, and spitting on all of the people that want to stay around.
I believe that 99 precent of the people that are leaving, find Tyler guilty with no evidence what so ever, because they also have an agenda!

When GAF went down and people went on their respective discords, links leaked onto 8chan/voat. You think the occasional porn pic was bad here? Those are nothing compared to the amount of porn and gore posted in every discord those shits could find, no matter how unpolitical the Discord was. Even the darn Vita discord was attacked.
Those are the kind of people doing outrageous account suicides (hardcore porn/gore) here to paint the people who leave as shitheads. I don't doubt some of those were done by genuine leavers, but don't be mistaken as what most were.

Even accepting your point, which I believe is incorrect (Bill and Hillary governed together during his time in the White House... she was responsible for his health care plan... and there's no question he would have been the most important person in his administration), that comment didn't deserve a ban of any length, let alone two months.

I for one have been lurking for 6-7 years and only a member for 2. I had no idea that he was like this.
Never saw any of these posts...
What bothers me is why did people stay after these comments? Why waa this incident the one that caused so much outrage. I know I'll be leaving once resetera comes online and I won't be posting here any longer.

My take on this, for what it's worth...
I can literally write a book on how half my Ex's tried to destroy my life, things that were said or simply made up to try to destroy my credibility or assassinate my character, for no other reason other then to be vindictive, vengful, and spiteful.
My Ex of 15 years accussed me and my current wife of hiding in her bushes (Yes, literally), stalking her, claiming we were driving past her house in strange cars (that we never seen in our lives), creeping up on her house looking through her windows! The most absolute ridiculous accusations we being made against me and my wife!!! This was just a year ago! She told my 18 year old daughter that when we lived together i tried to poison her multiple times because her hair was falling out!!! Just some sick sick stuff she was making up to destroy my character! She got a restraining order against me, in which i took it to court and WON, the judge sided with me and dropped it!!! O' and you better believe she heard it from me, right infront of the judge about the disgusting lie she had the nurve to tell my daughter!
Because of these accusations, i had a few friends of mine who didn't know what to believe, and literally didn't talk to me until just recently!
The whole situation left me and my wife dumbfounded!!! Who makes up stories like this???
About 20 yrs ago when i was a teenager one of my sisters friends accused me of something worse then what Tylor is currently being accused of! Was it true? NO, absolutely NOT!!! It never went to court or anything, i busted this girl out infront of MANY people one night and she actually apologized to me! Like really??? But to spread rumors about someone just out of spite is currently the world we live in, i know because i lived through it.
Now, am I siding with Tylor here? No I'm not, but there are many red flags that definitely have me raising a brow with the accuser,MANY!
It just shocks me that someone can "Possibly" make something up about someone and destroy their life in ways that are irrepairable, and these people get a kick out of it, and i say this in a general sense, I'm talking about anybody and anyone, not Tylor, not me, everyone!
For so many to jump ship and convict Tylor guilty before ALL the facts are out, you people are the problem! PLEASE, i pray that none of these people are ever seated on a Jury, their minds will be made up before the trial starts!
Also, about the "Spain" trip years back? This is simply how I took it, my OPINION on how the facts read out... I don't think there is ONE guy (or girl for that matter) that i have met or been friends with over the past 30 (something) years who has not done something so absolutely stupid while being drunk, that could easilly be a court case if taken serious (which no girl or guy abviously did take serious)! My first impression on this was that Tylor was obviously being playful and misjudged the girls character/mood,the girl took offence to it and shit hit the fan. I've been a member for almost 4 years and I didn't know till yesterday that Tyler was like that. Most people didn't know, only the veterans or people who stumbled across him directly knew. The outrage now is just the straw that broke the hypothetical camel's back.

I mean ...Statically, if you really cares about Americans being safe, you take away automobiles, alcohol and fast food because they are the biggest factors to American lives... I mean what does border security has to do with gun laws?
Do you care about the safety of your family by .. I dont know ..making sure your house is safe and secure? You would only allow only those that are accounted for by you... to enter your property right? Well... if you can understand that concept why is it hard to understand in the bigger picture of it... as a nation? Is it because youre not directly effected by it? Thats like someone living an apt complex saying they dont care about the safety of the apt complex just as long as their unit doesnt get bothered. Doesnt the general safety of the apt indirectly helps you and keep you safe ? And just because you want everyone entering and exiting to be accountable doesnt mean you think those that enter illegally are more dangerous.... for example, I work in the hospital... everyone that enters the hospital has to check in with security for.... the safety of everyone. It is not to say everyone entering the hospital without checking in is more dangerous but without any accountability of those entering/exiting it is HARDER to keep it safe. I understand that entering a nation is more complex than entering a hospital/house but I wanted to point out that we understand and abide by the rules of private property unless its for entering to another nation...

No, i totally get it, i feel i just needed to vent, mainly because of everything in my life and what i been through. This situation gives me pause due to my experiences of accusations thrown my way and lies told about me. We all start somewhere.
BTW, I joined this forum for Video Games, i absolutely love it, and that's were im headed!
The fact that EL hasn't denied anything the 'accuser' said and instead went instantly for the 'bitches be crazy' defence is rather telling no?
