Sony Planning PlayStation Event in Early Feb, Invites Going Out Next Week

That was the most expected month for that.
I think it is the better one too because it give time to 3rd-parties organize what to show at E3 without need to be keep secret.

Wasn't this rumored back in August ish when Mark Cerny was interviewed by a popular site. ...I just can't remember the name ...
 
time for sony to usher in the new age of gaming. the ssd, cpu and powerful gpu should change gaming in ways we havent seen since the ps1 to ps2 jump.

its going to be extremely exciting. i just hope MS and third party publishers join them. as much as i enjoy sony games, they need some competition. japanese studios have done really well this gen but western studios with a few exceptions like cd project and rockstar have pretty much phoned in this gen.

sony will get their first shot at showing everyone what next gen gameplay looks like. they better not blow it.
 
Hopefully the event is exciting and the presenters don't put me to sleep, and they show the specs and how the console would look like.

They should release a Ridge Racer Remaster with just the original track... absolutely maxed out with insane graphics and ray tracing .... just blow our minds and make it a 39 dollar launch title. A throw back tech demo launch title.
 
Please please announce a system that is worth $499 of specs.
Get that 9.2tflops out of my next gen. We need higher minimals for the next 5 years.

My faith in the future of SCE rest on this. Jim better not disappoint on the big stage.
Please no...not a repeat of X1 disaster. That is my greatest fear for my love of Sony. To see passive-aggressive Spencer taking jabs at Sony9.2 for the rest of the generation.

Sony stocks have been doing so well. This is it.

I would buy it. How about a remake of Ridge Racer Revolution with all the same tech you just stated for sixty bones. It would be glorious
 
This is a good sign of Sony repeating 2013 and hopefully being at E3. Woohoo!!! :)

Klee says over 12 while osiris said over 10. Both mentioned more powerful than xsx and both said reveal in February.

Since you don't believe klee, you'll be getting a 9TF and no reveal in February.


Btw its kind of strange for OP to link a no name dude, wonder what his sources are from.
 
Event is set for february 11th.
Given its early feb and corps love the 11th date for , well , conspiracy reasons.

This rumor is utter nonsense for two reason 1 this leak has been going around since the mark cenry interview last year so 6/8 months ago with no follow up. 2nd this leak is from foxy UK this is the same guy that said sony would copy the switch with a switch like concept again that has already been debunked.
 
The fact that he calls them publications (which a gaming site would be,) rather then publishers (which they are,) tells me he doesn't know shit and is spreading previous rumours and trying to tie them to someone.

I guess this is what qualifies as an "insider" now.
