I wonder if MS suspected/knew Sony was planning this so set yesterday's date as the information blowout.

From the tweet it seems that part of it is from what would have been shown at GDC, other stuff shown is not from GDC.

They clearly said today the tomorrow presentation is the GDC presentation planned a long time ago.
It is the same content, schedule, etc.

Those MS videos and hands-on weren't done yesterday. They were done a while ago and the media was under NDA embargoes.

To me "contains content" doesn't mean that tomorrow is only the GDC presentation, but I can't read the original Japanese to clarify. If it is the GDC presentation you would just say it is the GDC presentation.
Better to expect just the GDC presentation either way.
