Valheim announced for PS5 (2026)

I have searched far and wide for the "leader" in the (PvE) survival genre. A lot of people say Enshrouded. A lot say Grounded, others say Subnautica.

Valheim seems to be recommended more than all of them.

Me and flatmate started to play it in EA but it had a pretty bad stutter issue at launch that put me off (he was able to brute force through it to an extent with his higher spec PC) and I never went back.

Might be fun to have a go on PS5 now that its more of a complete game, cheers for the heads up.

It's fun, and very affordable.

Kind of reminds me of like someone taking Morrowind, enjoying decorating their house, and just going all in on that shit.

Highly recommended. Friend put up a server and I played it for 400h.
Looks just like home, without getting soggy shoes from the wet moss.

Must mean it is finally moving out of early access. Been waiting on this one for a while.

I absolutely love this game, but it is probably not a solo game. The best way to play this game is to rent a persistent server and invite 3-5 friends. There is a lot of grinding that needs to be done, but a lot of fun group activities (like insanely fun). So renting a server allows the hardcore to grind asynchronously and then you meet up with the boys for the fun stuff.
