In actuality, with wide cross-gen support being a thing, even for Microsoft first party studios, this may be a lot more plausible than many of us were thinking at first. I would love to continue seeing great third party games hitting the Switch.

Anyone tried to play Tetris 99 lately? All I can say is there must be a lot of Japanese people staying home right now. Absolute bloodbath.
 
GameExplain has a nice video covering how the landscaping tools in Animal Crossing work.

Short explanation: Don't expect to work miracles, or jump genres right into Minecraft, but you really can do quite a lot.

 
Pumped! Would really want to play through the first one again to freshen up my memory but ain't enough time goddamnit.

Actually thought I was a wiz at tetris and the best ever at it and then the fuckers made it multiplayer and then they made it online with 99 other players.

I had to think it was meant to happen by now but pushed back by corona.

Perhaps maybe they also got word of these Xbox and PS5 reveals and wanted to wait until the week after.

I think it'll be next week.

After a couple of boring-ass reveals for the Xbox SEX and PS5, I'm realizing that whether I like it or not, Nintendo's all I have left in the console world. And I bought Tokyo Mirage Sessions to play during all this Corona nonsense, and I'm having a good time with it. I missed you, Ninty :(

But that goddamn Direct needs to happen.


And the Switch Pro...
 
Only two more days and I can escape the craziness of the real world and start my new life on Tom Nook's deserted island!! This game could not be coming out at a more perfect time for me.

There's a couple of definite upsides:

1) I forgot how many games I actually bought for the Switch. I have a lot of stuff to play.
2) There's an awful lot of stuff that I skipped. Some of it I probably will wait for the inevitable hardware upgrade to play... but others like Dragon Quest XI? Ain't no excuse.
 
Perhaps now that MS and Sony have given in-depth looks into the tech specs of Xbox Series X and Playstation 5, Nintendo
will announce their "SwitchUP"/"Switch Pro" in the next Direct. 🤞

I just had to dig down to the second page to find this thread. Currently not getting to enjoy my island life yet. Got roughly 6 more hours of work ahead of me.
