Does anyone actually eat a hamburger without cheese?

Cunth

Fingerlickin' Good!
So I was just philosophising and thought, do we really need the word 'cheeseburger'? I've never had a hamburger without cheese. Surely that's the standard. It's just a burger without salad. Who eats burgers without cheese

People eat burgers without the bread, which is a whole other level of insane.

And as you can see, no cheese either.

I don't personally know people with such disorders but they certainly exist.

When I make them at home they never have cheese. They are just too tasty the cheese takes away from the flavor. When I buy a burger yea it almost always has cheese.

If it's a fastfood burger I gotta have cheese to make up for the lack of taste but if I make/season it myself I rather taste more of the burger. The only fast food exception is Five Guys. I like their burgers without cheese too.

i add cheese if i'm making a burger with bun, lattuce, etc.

but most of the time i eat burgers without nothing, maybe some ketchup or mayo and normal bread apart.

I have done it. Every once in a while you run into unprepared amateurs. you can try to roll with the punches. The dairy disrespect can be hard to overcome but I have dug deep and done it a handful of times.

I only like cheese if it hasn't been cooked or is on pizza or mozzarella sticks.

I don't know how people can eat hamburgers with cheese, when I've had them they were gross and the texture makes me gag. I only do plain tacos too.

I cook a beef patty and don't even put it on a plate. I suspend it in mid-air by eating it on an airplane that's in freefall. I refuse to use any condiments, spices, or even utensils as the metal of the knife and fork would take away from the taste of the beef. Fingers also rub away some of their oils, so I just float over to the patty and bite into it.

It's just a topping; do we call a burger with lettuce on it a lettuce-burger?

A cheeseburger should be a burger with a patty made from cheese.

No but my dad always orders a hamburger, when what he really means is a cheeseburger. So they turn up and everyone got a cheeseburger because they ordered correctly except him.

So I guess he thinks the same, that they should just come with cheese by default.

I fucking hate American cheese, its shit and what most put on hamburgers. I don't like any cheese on a burger because it changes the flavor of the burger to me. I like cheese in like Italian food, pizza, etc but I don't like it on burgers. So I never eat cheeseburgers.

Swedish Gräddost is god tier on burgers, it's very mild, semi-hard fullcream
but melts well, also crisps up fast. It's like mounting a good steak with butter.

Only one god tier cheese

Back the fuck up, slowly

Pepper Jack is good, but the fat content isn't enough to spread all the lovely juices all over the place.. :P the two are actually made in a similar fashion, in gräddost, you just add whole cream to it. Very similar in taste still, so good choice.. :D

Depends on the kind of cheesse and if there's any sauce involved.

A thin slice of sharp cheddar and a bit of ketchup on top of a smashed burger is sufficient.

A burger without cheese but instead with a a slice of tomato is a think of beauty. There's just something about beef with tomatoes that just clicks.

I just had the strangest sensation.
I was sitting watching a video with a "crossed arms" pose and for the first time in my life I crossed my right arm over my left arm. I feel it is a turning point.
