Dude, if you like gory stuff you really can't miss tlou2, i mean just the gameplay reveal has more gory details than entire 50 hours games.

I have avoided the leaks pretty well. I don't mind playing female, gay or lesbian characters. TLOU was great, I think I can live with the story in TLOU2.
Day 1 no doubt.

This is the type of aggressive moves they need to make. They could have 60% of big multiplats made exclusive or times exclusive by denying them access to the platform if they dont because it's worth too much......

UC2 MP was amazing during certain perdiod of time.

As for ND, they were among my favorites studios last gen and I now I feel nothing about their games (UC4 was "only" ok, LL good), leaks tells me that they went 100% woke and what was shown so far about TLOU2 gameplay (or graphics, one of their main selling points so far) isn't that interesting. Looks like they fucked up by developing this for too long and then SARS-COV-2 fucked them up even more ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My favourite tweet response is from big guy honorable gaming journalist trashing the leaker. After running 15373927384999764626262544426378 articles that reveal gaming leaks.

Bite the hand that feeds and all that jazz? No?

On one hand, I feel sorry for those who worked through the crunch to get this game out watch all their work just get leaked. On the other hand, I don't feel sorry for the higher ups who created such a working environment where an employee was pushed to leak this as a message of ND working standards.

So to me they're both in the wrong. ND clearly needs to change their working ways.

Lots of ex-ND complained about Neil and nobody else. It seems that he's the issue
 
I can't tell if people are serious. The sum total of the leaks in no way totally tells you the story, and a story is not just it's larger beats, it's context and how it builds to such things. I'm picturing people in 1980 being spoiled on Vader being Luke's father and skipping ESB over it, like that is not how media is consumed, as much as surprises matter it's only to a certain extent. If it's as long as TLOU 1 was then it'll be over 13 hours, the idea you can know how good it is from these leaks is baffling to me. Just imagine the same thing happened to the first game.

I also don't get people who bash the gameplay but that's a whole other story.

What I have a problem with is the sjw woke pandering that Naughty Dog has resorted to instead of continuing the first game's storyline in a logical fashion. The fact that they're not denying the truth of these leaks shows me they've really got drunk on the Idpol koolaid.

This year will be a good test to see how low is the bar for general audiences when it comes to storywriting in gaming. With movies we've already seen the bar has hit the bottom and is digging down, now it's gaming's turn.
We're already Oh for Two, let's see if Cyberpunk goes for strike three. I guess it will.
In 100 years this will be looked back at some mystic "what the * were they thinking!?" era of storytelling.

Don't like overtime? Refuse. Ask for more money. Quit. Unionize. Take them to court.

I did not say you had a problem with that. I just asked if that is a bad thing. i am not an English native speaker, so as far as i understand lesbo and tranny are kind of offensive words when used to refer to gay women and transgender people.
And i did not say that I know you, I just stated that you may have an issue with that kind of games. if that is not the case disregard my comment.
What would be continuing the storyline in a logical fashion? Them being gay does not affect the storyline, since I have not read any spoilers nor read the script dump anywhere, I won't go there since I do not want to be spoiled.
Whatever are your reasons for not playing the game or disliking it, those are solely yours and I could not care less.

I feel like this comment, while seemingly logic, is very flawed.
There is an inherent link between difficulty and fun. Every game poses a challenge to you and you get rewarded with perceived "fun" for overcoming it. Everything else is just storytelling and could be done better in a movie.
If there is no challenge, you're just watching a movie... but with extra steps.

That's why I think custom difficulties are important; you want your players to feel challenged but not frustrated and people have very different tolerances for that.
People should always find a challenge in your game that meets their abilities/skills to make sure they get that kick of dopamine; it's literally why we play games.

That's why the great gameplay within Dark Souls will forever be lost on a huge market share and that's very sad.

Eh, my comment wasn't meant to be factual, just a mere opinion. I think the "inherent link between difficulty and fun" exists, sure, but it's also subjective and different for everyone. I mean, I think I'm one of the folks that doesn't really get the "fap" that comes with intense difficulty and completion. When it's done right, oh yeah it can be nice, but I'm by no means chasing that feeling for the dopamine kick, haha. I mean, this is also coming from someone that doesn't care for Souls and Souls-like games. Has nothing to do with the difficulty, they just don't entertain me. But then there are people out there that LOVE them because of the difficulty alone.

Really? TLOU is one of my favorite games of all time, and I didn't avoid any spoilers. I was already going to wait and see if my fears about this game were true. Now (thanks to the leak) I know they are.

This isn't concern trolling, a lot of us are concerned with the direction Naughty Dog games are going under Neil Druckmann and unfortunately they are correct. I've bought every single Naughty Dog game since Crash Bandicoot 3, but I'm not getting this shit.
 
I am kinda ok with it's leak actually. I mean I would've practiced my 7 days right to return here in AUS after discovering the gamespot meme infestation in it anyway. I'll check this out in black Friday sale of 2021 for sure as the game looked alright.

Agreed. Regardless on how the story affects individual feels on this forum. I enjoyed the visceral and ultra violent combat in TLOU. TLOU2 will definitely double down on this with current gen graphics.

Also, I don't need to post anything regarding ND working conditions as there already articles and comments from ex-nd employees talking about how horrible it is.

You really think the leaker didn't ask "Hey, why have I not been paid yet?" before deciding to leak.

Let me guess, from your point of view, ND is in the clear and only the leaker is at fault?
