This was a pretty good watch - there's some real poignant stuff here and certainly worth watching, no matter where you stand in all of this. He's a master at his craft. It's not his typical special, but the Candace Owens stuff still cracked me up - "she's so articulate, she can tell you how much of an idiot she is, precisely."

Was a powerful speech but he's a millionaire that won't feel the consequences of broken local economy... yeah, people are beyond mad but you gotta think a bit ffs.
I'm all in for protests, including violent ones when needed, but break the fucking government buildings if you have to break something, not homes and stores and shit that will just aggravate the poor situation and condition of your community, be it neighborhood-wise or city-wise.
Anger is a powerful tool of change, but being the fucking animal that breaks other people's lives and steal their shit is the most retarded stupid thing one can make, so yeah, I wish Dave would've told them that too.

I like Dave Chappelle, but I wasn't feeling this one.
I'm glad he's willing to express himself earnestly with no filter, it's something I wish more people would do.
It's interesting that he rags on Candace Owens in particular. even though she's one of the few people actually openly speaking on actual issues plaguing black Americans communities the most today.
Yet he called her "the worst" and an "articulate idiot." An educated black woman openly discussing on the issues of extreme rates of black on black violence, a nearly 70% rate of black single motherhood, poor education within black communities. Of all the people to aim his ire towards, that had me shaking my head tbh.
He makes such an emotional rant for what happened to George Floyd, and understandably so, but was noticeably less concerned for innocent police officers being murdered in retaliation for an unrelated incident.
Was more of an emotional rant than standup.
