Excuses ? They are not really excuses. They are my opinions. Also stating a game is a timed exclusive is not an excuse you silly goose, but is a simple fact.

Good to know Wild is still in development, but at this point its personally too late for me.

Are you really gonna try to deny that Sumo Digital is not a shit developer and that Sackboy adventure doesn't look like a cash grab? Lol.

Ever since Sumo Digital took over LBP the series went to shit. LBP1 and 2 were good but they were made by Media Molecule so.

Also not sure why you would even put Sackboy on the list. LBP was never a main course dish for Sony but rather a small appetizer with a smaller following similar to how State of Decay is for Microsoft.

None of those games ever screamed buy this system to play it.

Compare games that actually matter, not side dishes..

You won't see Elden Ring at any Sony event, that's a Microsoft thing just like Dark Souls II, Dark Souls III and Sekiro was. I am also not sure if it will be at Xbox Games Showcase, I think this is a 1st party event only, but I could be wrong with it being 1st party only.

I'm very much looking forward to Returnal as im a huge Housemarque fan. No interest in Astro's Playroom which I think is more of a mini-game collection as opposed to an actual full game platformer. Wild seems to be stuck in development hell. Project Awakening looked great from the small trailer that was showed years ago but that's from CyGames and has nothing to do with Sony. Sackboy and GT 7 is of no interest to me. Kena and Athia looked great but like a few Xbox Series X games are timed exclusive which means that they're basically multi-platform games. I'm still waiting for Lost Soul Aside and hoping they moved it to PS5.

Both will have their sequels (as they should because why wouldn't they?) and new IP's as well. Of course, none of it matters if the games aren't good or better. Either way, im expecting NEXT GEN to be better than this generation so im definitely hyped overall!!!

In fairness to Sumo Digital, they didn't start development on Crackdown 3. They simply took over at the halfway point or so. Once Epic acquired Cloudgine, the entire game went into development hell. Simply put, the game should have been cancelled but wasn't because it was part of a franchise. Personally, I have zero interest in the franchise itself and am simply stating what happened throughout the development process.

100%? No. But I would say that it's more likely to be at the event than not be at the event. Microsoft has the marketing rights to the game. That is a fact. I'm expecting it to be shown as it hasn't been shown in over a year. I know it has been delayed to 2021 at some point late last year/early this year. The expectation is that it's been delayed in order to allow it to be a cross-gen title.

It's not fantasy land because I have literally zero interest in From Software and could care less what they do. Played Sekiro for about 5 hours and Bloodborne for 10 hours, dropped both and will never go back to them. I don't have any actual sources and any info I get is public knowledge that you can find/listen to on your own which im sure I told you about already. I simply go based on those who do know stuff and much more than a nobody like me will ever know.

Agree 100%. The best all time console launch lineup and launch year in my opinion was and still is Super Nintendo. I was in heaven back then as a kid. lol.

I do believe that Xbox Series X/PlayStation 5 launch will be better than that, by far too. Launch Year will probably also be better but in all honestly, I am expecting some 2021 titles across the board to be delayed into 2022. But we'll see.

I find God of War closer to HZD but Spiderman is much more different than either.

It's seemingly a key point of difference between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X - while stressing that developers can use the console's power as they wish, Microsoft has often talked about 60fps as a design target for next-gen, even mooting the idea of 120fps gaming in some scenarios for the new wave of HDMI 2.1 displays.

I just hope than enabling VRR on consoles will unlock the framerate, I'll gladly take 40-45FPS instead of locked 30.

Microsoft have the diversity of games, but they lack quality, hopefully this new Xbox gen will have better quality games.

I don't know, I think the main issue is their marketing, their trailers and TV spots aren't as refined as the ones from Sony, Ubi or EA, they lack the tension and drama, they are more like "hey look, we have a new video game coming!" rather than something that supposed to build hype and excitement.

Agreed. Microsoft's marketing for XBOX has really been poor lately. Just look back at the Original XBOX or 360 days.

XBOX used to have an identity back then. It used to be the "cool" console. It was new. It was surprising. It was weird, crazy, and desirable. People wanted it because of how new, fresh, and cool it was. My examples here are from Halo 3. Man... the marketing for this game was some of the best in gaming history. I still don't think it's been topped.
