YouTube and Twitch don't support 4k streaming atm, and again the stream is meant to hype and market their software lineup.
You're fussing about something that'll last only an hour. The vast majority of people won't even care, as most views will come from 4K uploads anyway.
The June PS5 stream peaked at 7 million+ concurrent live viewers. It was the most watched gaming live stream event on YouTube to date apparently.
So yea, I would
strongly disagree with that opinion.
