Alex hates Sony. He keeps throwing in jabs. Like SSDs wont eliminate LOD and had to throw in a 30 frames per second comment too.

Alex put himself in a corner when first specs come out and he clearly start saying ssd wont matter and that GPU power as always will be be the main differentiator this gen.. he then started downplaying everything regarding ps5 and clearly cheering for Xbox sex trying to make a point...

The problem Is as the time goes by we already saw great detailed worlds running on Ps5 hardware with the unreal demo being the most visible showcase, but we could also see RT in action (with good results) at 4K and clearly a next gen feeling from a lot of games with the plus that many of them will run also at 4K dinamic at 60fps...

From Xbox sex we didn't see jackshit.. lots of people is glossing over this but if I was planing to buy one I would for sure be concerned.. I'm now sure that Xbox sex will not have any first party game at launch (except the disasterous hallo) and most of third party games will not show in any capacity the next gen feeling people want from next gen...

Is going to be a bloth bath for Sony coming this holiday.. as ms continuous the extraordinary trend of being genially incompetent.. how is this possible I really don't know.. their all strategy of pushing game pass instead of promoting with new wonderful games the Xbox sex is astonishing (extraordinary games will attract people to game pass not the other way around)

With this said Alex is finding himself in a deeper hole.. so more and more uncomfortable with the way things are going.. and the bitter and jabs towards ps5 will be more and more obvious as time passes before he have to acknowledge Sony with ps5 made so many right and really innovative choices..

Again it seems they've put all their eggs in one basket with Halo. What other first-party AAA games do they have coming in the first full year? I don't believe there is anything?

Yet with Sony there were 5? arguable AAA games shown and the word is all those games in the reveal will be out by the end of 2021 with possibly more to be announced.

It's crazy that PS5 already has a better launch-window lineup of games than the PS4

there is an old saying. ANY game can run at 60 fps. but at what cost?

well yesterday we found out the cost.

No hallo looking shit is way beyond being 60fps...

First is the game being tied to last gen and really validates all people that was pointing how build a game crossgen would definitely impair the development for next gen machines and where labeled as concerned trolls... I think this game definitely puts that discussion to rest as is so obvious..

Second the studio not being competent.. We have plenty of games this gen running at 60 frames looking much better with doom being one of them in much lesser hardware...

This all fiasco is even more impressive as with 12tf at their disposal they did not even increase texture resolutions.. no particle effects whatsoever, light engine completely crap.. pop in all over.. the game is really a mess and bugs my mind how it was possible for MS let them show it.. it bugs me even more read all the bulshit phill was talking previous the show.. I really think Phil and Greenberg consider we are a bunch of retards...

And to add insult to injury the demo was not even running in a Xbox sex... if this is not supreme incompetence I don't know what it is..

And its not just about pretty graphics, its shading, shadows, textures and another million things going on.

You could have 50 tflop machine it wont make a bloody difference, talent is what is about.

GT7's ray traced reflections are absolutely amazing. check out the reflections on this driver's helmet. i dont care if its 1080p checkberboard. it looks stunning.

there is really no comparison here. there are no single player 60 fps open world games on current gen consoles.

343i tried to please internet nerds and PC elitists like Dictator by making their shitty 1.3 tflops gpu run Halo 5 at 60 fps and then this time decided to go full open world and paid the ultimate price.

let this be a lesson to developers everywhere. gamers do not care about 60 fps, they care about graphics.

There was that leak some time ago which mentioned a segment on backwards compatibility, so that would explain the comment about "Gen 9" not being the whole show. They are going to show off some 360/Xbone games running at 4K. I'm looking forward to seeing that.

No Idea, MS just doing their PR and using PCs and smiling for the camera, who knows whats going on back home. MS will get found out if releasing soon like that Halo demo, as devs need time to tune to any hardware.

This. Also, the animation is really, really bad. Looks super dated, and that detracts a lot from the overall visual quality and appeal for me at least. Makes it look amateurish.

I watched the 4K@60fps event version, was playing GOT while it was streaming. So no "bad" first impressions to me, the final impressions are simply worse than May's event, AC Valhalla so far is the best thing shown from Xbox events, and it's coming to PS5/PS4 anyway.
