Now very worry for how Halo will run in my Xbox one .... I was planning play it there and then play in XSXWe don't now how Spiderman looks at 60fps. Although definitely not as bad as Halo
in order to compare ..... because play in PC make me do stupid things lol.
But now man, if the Halo we saw looks like that in a PC similar to XSX,then what my Halo will looks like Halo 3

See...I'm not sure this is on 343. I'm NOT saying 'XSX is trash' or anything either though. I honestly think that Halo as showed look fine. Looked good even in a lot of places. Just not what is expected from 'next gen' overall and WAY different from the earlier trailer they showed which SET all the expectations people had.
I honestly think that it is experiencing issues from the need for legacy support. In other words, if 343 was building this from the ground up for XSX only...I think it would be a different situation. I've wondered for a while about this. People always say that PC games scale and this is the same. True...to an extent. But GRAPHICS and RESOLUTION are what scale. When you have things bound to the limits of a CPU, it's different. For example (and this is drastic), if you're writing ANY app that has to run adequately on an old Pentium 5.....when you run it on a newer i7 it will be smoking BUT...you can't take advantage of the extra power and features of the i7 unless you write DIFFERENT CODE. In other words, another version of your app. You might even be able to bundle both versions into a 'fat binary' or something but you STILL need that additional code to take advantage of the i7.
So in this case, the simply GPU attached features and functions...no problem. But I'm afraid that the difference in CPU perhaps or even the I/O of the XSX are causing 343 to have to code for a lower common denominator and that doesn't scale up as well. I think devs will have to make MORE than just a simple patch to make XSX versions of games that run on XB1 really sing. Just my opinion, but it appears to me from Halo Infinite that my hypothesis at least has some evidence now.

I’m pretty confident that ND could have a patch to run it at 60fps at launch easy.

Uncharted 4 has been one of my favourite games, especially the online multiplayer. I'm glad people are still appreciating it's graphics, it's one fo the best looking games ever and it's aged like fine wine.
But here's what's interesting, think about what Naughty Dog were able to accomplish with Uncharted 4 on current gen hardware, now think about the gigantic power and performance leap of the PS5 and try imagining what Naughty Dog will be able to pull of with next-gen hardware.
Here's what happens if I think about it:

US/Russian governments are still holding the virus and refusing to kill it and WHO asking them to terminate it as it's considered extinct since 1979. A retired UN soldier did play with me in early stages of The Division and told me about a similar concept was held by a group during WW 1-2. They're meant to kill themselves within 3-6 days of the mission. He's a British guy, 64 old back then (69 probably now), didn't contact him lately on PSN. Actually The Divison was inspired by a protocol made by Obama about such pandemic around 2011 that inspired the game, as Massive devs said in some interviews.
The audience felt like that was too much, but you need to keep pushing a lot to be successful and I love spare time more than money, and you can even see some youtubers complaining about pressure and depression they face no matter how smiley they look.
When PS5 is out, I get to work, COVID-19 finally solved, football back to normal, it's impossible to be here as much. So when you start something, you better go balls deep or never.
Games are arts, and I enjoy them, and I don't wanna feel like it's some kinda work I have to do. I love spare time so much that I'll retire as soon as it's legally possible. Before after like 15 years you can "buy" the later 5 years in cash (5-7K OMR, $13-18K USD) and retire and get 80% of your total salary, that was my plan like 7 years from now, now that's not possible and must work for another 12 years.

Perosnally I don’t think it’s possible for Sony (or MS) to change their specs now.
Specifically for Sony they are working to a power budget for the APU and variable clocks based on activity monitoring.
Changing a hardware parameter will cause a chain reaction to the rest of the system - this close to launch that is risky if they get it wrong and people’s machines brick.
Now it could be that the retail units they test are showing good cooling and lower than expected power use. In that case they can tweak the smartshift allocation and variable clock logic to give more performance.
Back when MS gave xb1 it’s small clock bump they had Watts to spare compared to the equivalent gpu so thats where they could bump the frequency.
On these machines though power is a tighter constraint.

Bringing real time global illumination to the table as if that was the problem with the game.. we all know that baked light is far from ideal and can make things flat and ugly but it does that for ALL games as all games use it.. is not news.. the point is devs being able to overcome technological limitations and deliver quality visuals.. which halo devs didn't do.. that’s the point! Of course that even the worst turd game being able to use real time global illumination would benefit immensely (as Minecraft abundantly proves).
Besides he didn’t even analyzed frame rates or resolution that as far as we know is dynamic. He didn’t even touch the subject..
The only good thing in this video is that he simple destroy the “crossgen doesn’t hold back games” narrative.. as he very openly says fuck last gen

This forum has been terrible the last 6 weeks, have i contributed to some of it yes, i think i have. I am not personally here for the technical side of things, i like a bit of banter and try and spread some good will about.
Am i upset at xbox, fuck yes, the last few days have made me really pissed off and i have fired back with both barrels, but that is not aimed at normal xbox fans its the execs that have lied and bullshited us. I was extremely excited for there reveal, especiall for fable and Grimdawn. I got to see neither, i was really really upset.
Vast majority of the time i stay out of xbox threads, this thread is kinda my home, all my junk and shit i post is normally found in here. The reason i do this is cos i dont want to ruin other peoples fun and second i know i will get a ban, my humour can be a bit on the edge. and btw it's just very early build and it's coming just in 4 months, no wonder ms has to push those pixels to compensate visual details.

You’re right - we don’t know the TDP of either PS5 or Xsex.
If the retail PS5s perform better than anticipated, the spec change would come as a change to the power budget. I really can’t see Sony increasing clock speed or doing something like enabling 2 extra CUs as was suggested.
Hypothetically if Sony had planned a 110W APU TDP, then found the retail units are actually ok at say 115W - they give a performance boost by making 115W available for the APU to use - smartshift and the activity monitor get tweaked to use that extra 5W and there is the extra performance.
Sony can give performance back just by making extra power available through firmware. That’s why I don’t think they make hardware level changes.
But this is speculation of course.
