Finally get banned from resetera?

2 weeks for yet another BS ban reason.

Aparently it's gatekeeping to ask if people play a game they love to bitch about, lol.

Oh well. I still lurk here, but I don't post much in either site outside of the anime/Destiny community threads there

You know it sure is od. For a group of people that literally hate anything Japanese that isn't Mario/Zelda they sure do rant about anime over there. Or should I say walk on eggshells so that they don't get banned over anything like poor ol Cornbread78 Cornbread78 here. He's suffered enough just by liking shows like Charlotte IMHO.

Charlotte could've been amazing, but they fucked it up.

Original anime. Too short. A few more episodes might have saved it. The last 4 episodes were completely shit. I'm not even gonna bring up the dropped plot of the first 3 eps either. What a trashfire. Speaking of, has Deca-Dence pulled a Little Witch Academia or Charlotte yet?

It's good so far. Not a fan of the CG elements, but I like it overall. Some elements give me KLK vibes. Especially last week's episode. Please more studios, give me KLK vibes.

Edit: I'd say the main character is kind of weak, but I'm invested in the plot / cyborg end of things.

Funny enough, I made teh OT for Charlotte here years ago, lol.

And yes, Charlotte was pretty darn good up until the last couple episodes where they dumped an entire season of potential content into a single episode. Seriously, they could have done a full 12 episode season of just Yu traveling the world and building that ship with Nao, but nope, they dumped it all into a single episode... The more hilarious part of that is that the director explicitly stated going into Charlotte that they learned from their mistakes while producing Angel Beats and would not do it again....... Surprise, they doubled down and did Charlotte dirtier with the rushed ending, lol.

Oh well, the OVA was amazing for Charlotte and I really wish they would create that season with just Yu's adventure around the world stealing everyone's powers as he slowly loses his mind.....

So... anything worth mentioning this season?

- SNAFU S3 is excellent
- Monster Doctor has been decent
- Fruits Basket S2 is the best by far
- Uzaki-chan has elephantitis of the chest, but the show is fun
- The Misfit Demon King Academy has been pretty good as well.

Peter Grill is straight trash, on top of trash, on top of trash, on top of smoldering, festering trash.

- watch SNAFU to see worst girl win
- even tits can't save Uzaki-chan, even Tsuki can't save that show with the worst female protagonist this year
Peter Grill is ecchi not sure what I was expecting
Agree

If Evilore didn't delete them, look up the seasonal anime OT's during S1/2. We've known the SNAFU winner for a looooong time now, lol.

Yeah, but we've gotten to know the characters better now and indeed, she's worst girl.

Besides, I preferred it when the show was more episodic and fun. There's been bits of it here or there this season whenever Hachiman thinks of some weird idea.

We got a rap battle with hands dude this week, c'mon, lol

I rewatched Occult Academy today. I'd recommend watching that over anything that is currently airing this season.

So... How pervy is HxEros? A worthy successor to the glorious dumpsterfire that was Ishuzoku Reviewers, or just another boring plebcel protag waifubait?

Hey all, kind of a newcomer to this thread. I'm someone who mostly plays games, but I've watched an occasional anime, but not much in recent years. I watched the first season of Attack on Titan, but it was still new when I did so I never got to seasons 2 or 3.

I just started watching another anime finally though with My Hero Academia. How's this series been received? I've watched the first 4 episodes so far, and I'm into it. I decided to check it out, because I bought one of the games on Switch cheap, and thought that seemed kinda cool, but wanted to be more familiar with the series before I played it more.

I also felt if I'm gonna start buying figures from the series, I should start watching it xD Thought she'd look cool in my display

I didn't bother with it. I figured it would be more trash thsn the last HxH
The fact that it's trash isn't in and of itself a problem.
What I was interested in was whether it is a truly exceptional piece of trash, similar to other trash masterpieces like Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid and the aforementioned Ishuzoku Reviewers.

If you don't like shonen anime, its trash. If you do like shonen anime its probably still trash albeit to a lesser degree, since 95% of shonen is trash anyway.

I mean, i've read 100 ch or so from the manga and its basically shonen 101. No more, no less.

JK. Calling everything trash is par of the course in any anime community.
Anyway, BnH as i said is basically shonen 101. MC wants to get stronger due to generic reasons like "i want to protect everyone" or something, theres the mentor figure, theres the love interest, most of the story consist of many chapters of fighting, they'll throw loads of characters at you and you wont be interested in even half of them... and so on.

It is trash. Modern shounen for zoomers that don't know any better.

Valid points all the way around.

Good trash is very subjective. I'm all for dumpster fire trash as long as it's not loli shit

Is Yoshihiro Togashi going to release chapters in 2020?

I feel like HxH has the potential to be something spectacular in the Dark Continent Expedition arc

My Hero Academia is OK. It has pretty fast pacing so it's enjoyable to watch, but eventually it starts looping between "school event" and "villain attack", so it's no longer very interesting if you're more into a progressing story, but if you're into superheroes I guess it's still pretty good. It has some really good arcs too, and some really bad ones.

You should definitely continue watching Attack On Titan as that's one of the best animes out there.

Burn the Witch is really nice, though I'm not a fan of blonde Asuka and the simp. On the other hand, I really like Noelle and all the concepts around dragons. Seeing Kubo's character designs as well as his panelling and scene composition in 2020 is very enjoyable. I hope this short manga is a warm up to tackle a bigger series later.

Also Cutty Flam Cutty Flam I finished my rewatch of Jojo Stardust Crusaders and damn the final episode got me teary-eyed despite knowing every beat of it. That shot of the fallen comrades appearing in the desert sky and the goodbyes at the airport really moved me.

It's the best in the series imo. Hands down. The perfect mission. So many great stories and memories from that one that I don't know if Araki can outdo himself there. They even made a SNES game of it way back in the day

Lol. Remember this?
