What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

xbox from amazon, still stuck on we will let you know.

ps5 from bestbuy shipping by Nov 12.

I'm pretty worried about the amazon order, we are couple of days away and no update.

I have no doubts, Xbox One, S and Scorpio all delivered on time.

Honestly, I have no idea why people would choose going somewhere else unless they have loyalty points or something like that.

My Scorpio was faulty on day one but they did an advanced exchange which meant I got a new Scorpio one day later when they picked up the faulty one. DOAs happen and I'd rather deal with MS than a physical or online third party store.

That said, everyone's experience can be different.
 
This is the first time ever where I have been unable to secure a pre-order for a console that I wanted. Not a big deal for me, as I will get them whenever I can, but I've been surprised that no PS5s or XSX have really become available since the initial pre-orders.

Hopefully there will be some available to order on their launch days. I'm not pressed about it though - whenever I can get them is fine as there aren't any "must have" titles for either for me just yet.
 
Anyone have a PS5 coming from Target? Mine still says 13-18. It's been the same since I ordered it months ago.
 
Pre-registered early-mid July, pre-ordered a minute after they went live. (PS5)

Didn't secure a day 1 console and haven't been able to hit anywhere else. Not sure when I'll get it

I am trusting them with my console pre-order and so far I still have this: 13th-17th deliver range. I'm in the Midwest, so I know it's probably got an unfair advantage of who gets one. This place can either make it or break it in terms of living up to shipping expectations.

Mine says 13th - 18th like most others. I live close to New York City, closer to northern New Jersey. Reasonably close to a shipping hub. The thing is... I hope all the customer service chat is BS about waiting until the 12th to ship pre order PS5s. Why wait. Why have they waited this long and still haven't shipped people's XSXs.

Sketchy as hell considering almost all other retailers are telling customers they will have consoles by their launch dates.

Amazon XSX order is shipped; Target orders for 2 PS5s and one XSX are still farting around with a 11/13 delivery eta.

Yup, the page still says 'Preparing Order Arrives by Nov 12' but the system showed up yesterday afternoon.
I was excited to get it early, but none of the new games I'd want are here yet, so I ended up just carrying on with Wasteland 3 and downloaded Gears 5 to see how it looks.

I'd guess that stock will be back very shortly after release day. It sounds better to be all sold out than to have some in stock. I'd like to think you'll be able to scoop one after the first week. Good luck.

Wow. what state are you in? This is weird that they can't get stuff shipped out properly
 
PS Direct order shipped tonight. So MS Store and PS Direct have both shipped now. Just waiting on my 2nd PS5 from Amazon to ship.

Same here. And I got mine ordered on the first night available. It will change to shipping at some point. I already got my controller from them. I went pretty smooth. It comes UPS. Need to ship tomorrow or Monday at the lates!

I doubt they'll ship on a Sunday. I'll go with Monday or Tuesday... being hopeful.
 
Amazon - series x and ps5 shipped.
Bestbuy - PS5 not shipped but got a email days ago saying I will be charged in the next coming days.
Target - PS5 nothing just a pre order.
 
I'm actually really interested to hear what Dynamite has to say about his XSX, ever since he wrote that angry post about Microsoft after Infinite I've kinda regarded him as the xBox fan most likely to talk turkey about this stuff~
 
just got an email from amazon saying my series x had been upgraded to release day delivery. it has always said it was arriving on the 10th lol.

hopefully they are about to take the money and ship it.

Despatched today, via UPS from Microsoft UK.

Now waiting for delivery, never had a problem with UPS so I hope it will stay this way.
 
My pre-order is now sitting a couple miles away waiting to be shipped. Will definitely be working on computer facing the door on delivery date. Don't want to have to pick it up or have to wait.
 
Series X shipped from KY USA yesterday evening.
Going to NL Canada.
No updates besides initial pick up.
Not optimistic about it getting here for Tuesday heh

only have PS5 from bestbuy and same thing. payment was on hold on the 3rd and status in progress with delivery as early as Nov 12 but that's it. I just had a fight with the customer service chat on amazon CA. stupid people telling because the item is out of stock. like... can you fuckk off ? lol

yeah same here. Not really that concern about the xbox if i don't get it as I have a 2080ti so i am good. but PS5... sheesh.
 
Shoppers Drug Mart (Canadian version of CVS) confirmed my PS5 preorder is ready for pick up on Thursday. I've got almost a $1000 in points, time to burn some.

I cancelled Amazon. I still have two games on order, but if they don't update soon I'll cancel those too. I'll take my chances that Shoppers will have some games in stock.

Amazon really doesn't care about games at all. I ordered a bunch of groceries with some gift cards I had and those arrived immediately.
