What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

It's due tomorrow but all I can see is they have a label printed 😂

I have never ordered from the MS Store, so seeing UPS as the delivery service was a bit daunting to say the least.

Walmart first wave reporting in! Walmart still says preparing order but fed ex shipment tracker has printed a label! this is for ps5

All these people freaking out about Amazon not shipping either console yet must be new to preordering from Amazon. They have warehouses every now and have for years, they rarely ship preorders out before the day or night before its due to come.
 
On Board Courier (5:41AM 10/11/2020)

Problem is I just got home from nightshift (it's 6am here) so I might be asleep and miss them which means a card will he left.
 
I'm at my moms in NJ for the next 2 weeks or so and it's an awkward feeling knowing my PS5 is less than 15 mins from where I'm at in a facility I USED TO FREAKING WORK AT and I can't get to it . Wonder if my old supervisor is still there?

it will, my guess you have amazon distribution near by and it will be delivered by amazon driver.

Xbox preorder just updated. Seems it shipped yesterday despite updating now.
I suspect Ps5 amazon will see a similar update Wednesday.

They probably shipped it already but just didn't update the status yet, I think Amazon is playing these launches very carefully.

It's sitting in a warehouse in NJ and has been there for 4 days, assuming they release it tonight and get it to Virginia for tomorrow morning.

I've seen a few users reporting emails from Sony and anticipate I'll receive one today. But I did opt for the digital variant, which is why I'm wondering if I may be waiting longer for confirmation since it is the minority selection of the two SKUs.

Did you order from Sony directly via the email lottery? If so, they charged and shipped the console this past weekend. Not sure if the digital version is any different.

Indeed. A preliminary charge appeared on my card on Friday as pending, but it is now absent from my statement. Order lookup still reports it's preparing to ship, so now I'm stuck wondering.

For comparison, the accessories I ordered were invoiced three days before release (10.27) and shipped the following day (10.28).
 
Xbox will be here by 8:00pm tomorrow according to FedEx (direct order from MS store).
Walmart just shipped my other XSX.
Ps5 orders from Walmart still showing as preparing order.

Just got a call from Best Buy confirming my xbox series x will be ready for pickup. i am going at 9 am. Still can't believe i managed to score online preorders for both ps5 and xbox series x.

Hopefully it works out for you. If gamers don't get their consoles on release day, the election results will pail in comparison to the hell that will be unleashed on the net.

How did you find out this information. I pre-ordered a ps5 from Walmart and I have no status update or tracking number yet.
 
My Amazon XSX has been just charged. Not shipped yet, but still says it will arrive by 8pm tomorrow.... crossing fingers.
 
While I read everybody getting their consoles on release day, this is totally me right now, still waiting for an update on my release.

Wal-Mart showing "Preparing order. Tacking available soon." Of course, it's shown that for at least a week now.

That's the delay email. I have not received any delayed mail. I also do not see any label in FedEx Manager.

My Walmart order still says "arrives November 12th" as it has said since I preordered digital edition on the 16th.

Yesterday, customer support told me it would ship tomorrow, arrive on the 12th. Fingers crossed I guess...
It's good I haven't received the email? Is this email stating it's a certain delay or just that a delay is a possibility?
