Sony - you may love their first part offerings but if unchecked they would just ruin gaming.
Well, if Sony were gone then all the big AAA games would come to the Xbox.Kinda of a weird questions, preferably none but probably Microsoft since their games are on PC.
Theyd still never lower game prices even if they were third partyNintendo, just for being least consumer friendly. Also I have zero interest in any of their games.
Arch-PlayStation fans are among the more insufferable wankers out there it's true, but it must be said that Sony's victory with PSone was 100% earned. They had the right hardware at the right price, bent over backwards to offer good deals for publishers, secured killer exclusives, and absolutely went out of their way to reach players globally by establishing unprecedented localisation processes, often out of their own pocket. PSone did everything right.
Sony and Xbox have the same hardware and target the same demographic and yet 20% of you think Nintendo is the one to eliminate from the industry?

Eh Nintendo only seems to strike gold every other gen. They're due for a worse loss than the WiiU next genNintendo
And if it were not for the switch it would have taken the path of sega
I voted Microsoft, but on second thought, I think Sony might be the better choice. They lost their identity over the last generation or two and are just another Microsoft without Windows. At this point, I think I would prefer for Microsoft to consolidate all of the western development scene to their platform so we could get PC versions as well.
No but that is a strange conclusion to draw from what I wrote since Master Chief is a separate point from innovation. Are you trying to imply that Halo and microsoft are more innovative than nintendo?
Yes
No
Yeah because the opposite would be gaming heaven, right? This topic is insane. If you think Sony has been a bit arrogant in a few of their decisions lately, imagine what would happen if MS got out of the business.
Include a option... "eliminate all 3, PC Master Race RULES".

If you removed Sony, do you honestly think Microsoft would be so magnanimous with their offerings?Sony - you may love their first part offerings but if unchecked they would just ruin gaming.
Nintendo, because I am not 8 years old anymore. They seem to not care. I have zero interest in any of their games. And they are always three generations behind on technology. How they succeed blows my mind.
Those of you picking MS or Sony, I'd hate to live in a world where these two don't have to check each other and you would too so stop with that shit, you have no idea what you are talking about!!
We have seen what both would do when left to their own devices!! Think!!!!
If you removed Sony, do you honestly think Microsoft would be so magnanimous with their offerings?
Removing any one of Microsoft or Sony, gives the other an effective monopoly over the console market, with Nintendo existing in their own little bubble.
Monopolies are good for nobody.
Nintendo is going the hardware lite route.Sony and MS have gone the PC lite route. Only Nintendo is keeping it unique.
None of these corporations are you friend. Now, onto your points.Yeah because the opposite would be gaming heaven, right?
To quoteComputerBlue :
Pay to play online. Thanks Microsoft.
Microsoft points so you could never buy anything for its actual value and had to overspend and be left over with points, this is now common with any game that has in game currency. Thanks Microsoft.
Premium themes and Avatars? Thanks Microsoft.
Horse armor? Thanks Microsoft.
Popularization of microtransactions? Thanks Microsoft.

No, but one is truly giving me the continuation of what gaming used to be in the early '90, when i grew up, and they've being doing that since i can remember. The other made me love their games for a couple of years, and then it's like they made all they could to keep me away from their systems.None of these corporations are you friend.
Me too, this is indisputable truth. But it would take less than two seconds for me to decide, having to chose.I want these companies at each other's throats, only then do they actually give a damn enough to fight for our wallets.
Yeah, Nintendo is still putting out 2D platformers just like in the 90's.No, but one is truly giving me the continuation of what gaming used to be in the early '90, when i grew up, and they've being doing that since i can remember.
Eh, played plenty of 3D games between the N64 and PS1.Yeah, Nintendo is still putting out 2D platformers just like in the 90's.
Who would make them? MS can't manage their studios (unless you consider releasing the same re-skinned cars games every year).Well, if Sony were gone then all the big AAA games would come to the Xbox.

And you can't really think you'd see games like God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man etc. without Sony. You can't really think that Sony is the only AAA developer.
I never said that those specific games would come to the Xbox. Why did YOU single those games out?And you can't really think you'd see games like God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man etc. without Sony.
Oh ya forgot about that part too. Price of games.Nintendo, the most anticonsumer, bad hardware, expensive games etc...
Because you said ''if Sony were gone then all the big AAA games would come to the Xbox''?I never said that those specific games would come to the Xbox. Why did YOU single those games out?
Because you said ''if Sony were gone then all the big AAA games would come to the Xbox''?
What AAA games were you referring to? And if not made by Sony, what's the connection with Sony being gone?
I just read today that Sony wanted games to be more than $70 but settled for $70. Nintendo overprices everything they can get away with, especially remasters and they don't drop those prices.Microsoft could just focus on Windows and PCs. Nintendo and Sony can cover the console market 100%.
