You might think that but in reality this is just another thread that encourages console wars, at a time when we're all supposed to be excited for new hardware. You disappoint me.
Can you please name a bad idea that would count so much to eliminate them ?
Your friend's an idiot. My friend who is a Nintendo fanboy who hates Sony believes that PS5 will destroy Sony and they have to go back to selling buildings to stay afloat.
No more Ootoro sashimi and uni for the head honchos at Sony. Only rice with some strips of seaweed and Miso soup for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There is no "we're all supposed to." What is this, North Korea?
"encourages console wars" - You know they're not real wars right?
You're like an NPC from Demolition Man.
I would love to kill Nintendo with my bare hands and spread all its franchises over the other two manufacturers.
Ok, if you want to be pedantic, substitute 'supposed to' with 'would like to'.
And don't act like console wars aren't a thing. You know exactly what you're doing here.
But I'll bow out and leave you to it.
Why would you vote for anyone but Microsoft? LOL
Pay to play online. Thanks Microsoft.
Microsoft points so you could never buy anything for its actual value and had to overspend and be left over with points, this is now common with any game that has in game currency. Thanks Microsoft.
Premium themes and Avatars? Thanks Microsoft.
Horse armor? Thanks Microsoft.
Popularization of microtransactions? Thanks Microsoft.
You can't even play f2p games without Gold, on 360 you even needed Gold to watch Netflix LMAO. Trash.
Do you really want Ninja Theory/Naughty Dog Mario?
If Sony left manufacturing they would still publish on PC, Xbox and Switch like SEGA.
So there would be no real need for a Playstation console, you could just get a low/high spec PC and play all Sony games.
But how can one be a fanboy if they like TWO manufacturers? You can't be a fanboy of two competing companies at the same timeI wouldnt want any of them gone, and anyone who does is just a hardcore fanboy.
Probably not the nicest thread to start on the eve of two of them about to launch their new consoles.
dumbest take ever. congratsI voted Microsoft, but on second thought, I think Sony might be the better choice. They lost their identity over the last generation or two and are just another Microsoft without Windows. At this point, I think I would prefer for Microsoft to consolidate all of the western development scene to their platform so we could get PC versions as well.
LolI liked the 360 but overall I feel like things would be fine, possibly even better, without Microsoft. They're the most cynical of the 3 and I've been burned by them repeatedly outside of gaming. And most of their IPs are coming to PC.
What I want is Zelda in a 21st century hardware.
Naw, they are fine with making consoles, they just don't want to make games, but realized their mistake on just banking on third party. So now they are going for the Netflix/Gamefly of games.Definitely Microsoft. I'm not sure even they want to be a console manufacturer anymore.
Not at all to me, I voted Nintendo, but Sony actually makes more sense. Microsoft makes the best consoles/UI/controller, Sony has the game developers, and Nintendo has the handheld. We need Nintendo for handhelds, Sony has best big console games. Microsoft would make perfect sense as 3rd party/service provider.
Sony.
Xbox has the services and hardware.
Nintendo has the games.
