What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

This thing is fast. Like really fast

I tried a few games out on my one x before unplugging it, and when I put the series x in...It feels like going from a Hyundai Sonata to a Hellcat. I was surprised at how fast everything was setup and I was in game..pretty much plug, play, it pulled all my settings from the other system and im in the game on the new system in a matter of minutes. Everything is so snappy and crisp when navigating the menus
 
my target ps5 preorder is still listed as "preorder" and a charge is on hold. Estimated deliver 11/13 to 11/18. So I'll be late to next-gen again, lol.
 
I was tracking Newegg and Gamestop.com and was ready to get one and at Newegg, it said could only be purchased as part of a combo. I couldn't figure out what that mean. However, I had the MS store open and one suddenly came in stock and I ordered one. So I was able to order one thankfully. Downside? ETA is Dec. 23rd.

Newegg should be sued and shutdown for that shit. Being forced to purchase as part of a combo and they don't even let you know how to purchase it as a combo!
 
Damn, I got a call from the source asking me when I want to pickup my xbox series x, forgot I had pre-ordered it, must of been drunk and desperate. So now I have to go there and get a refund. Unless someone is in the region of north shore of mtl and needs one at cost
 
Had the same issue with the Newegg combo thing once I finally got it in my cart. Got an order from Microsoft but delivery for Dec 23 isn't cool.

MS gave you a date? Just says pending for me. They did charge me though.

Im hoping for much sooner, but I'll live if it takes longer. Im just happy that I was able to get one.

I'd like some info on how I am supposed to do a combo Newegg purchase though. I may try my luck with a PS5.

Better late than never. Hopefully it will be much sooner. I'd be thrilled if it arrived before Thanksgiving. I'm gonna try my luck at Best Buy.

I got the same.

I'm actually ok with it as I'm more wanting to get a PS5 first and hoping to score one Wednesday night or Thursday.

I definitely want both though, but planned on grabbing an XSX around Halo Infinite. So if I get a PS5 I may cancel the order, but if I don't find one by closer to shipping I'll just keep it as I want to play Cyberpunk on a next gen and waiting until the 23rd will be hard enough...assuming it doesn't get delayed again.

Both Xbox Series X were shipped yesterday by Media Markt and Saturn. Both will arrive today.

Best Buy.com was a fluke. Nothing went up. Looks like I have to settle for the MS store one. I'll be patient and hopefully it will come sooner.
 
My Order of Ps5 console, black ops cold war and spiderman MM is "processing" on shopto.

Had an email saying it had reached their warehouse yesterday.

Tempted to order demon souls too because it looks stunning, but I've never played any of the others and I don't know if I will enjoy it or not.
 
So further investigation with Argos.

It transpires that the tracking number they have sent me relates to my PS5 pre-order for next week. I just assumed they sent me a tracking number for xbox but it appears now that I don't have an xbox tracking number at all.

The website still says 'sit tight your order is in progress' however as I haven't had any further updates I think I'm going to have to admit defeat on this one.

I'll try and get them via online chat when they open here in the UK but they best be refunding me my money immediately if they've cocked up (which it would appear they have done) Argos took our money straight away here in the UK so they've had it sat in their account for something they can no longer provide. That is not good.
 
Bestbuy PS5 in store pickup says ready for Thursday 😈

Smashing F5 on Target website just now paid off! Picking it up in store in a few hour! Life is good!

Hope all of you people get yours on time too

Seeing the frenzied nature of this thread makes me super happy I opted for in-store pickup for my PS5 disc version at BB. Status has been "preparing for pickup on Thursday" since Sunday and my pickup appointment is set. Just walk in, get my system and head straight to work where Demon's Souls and AC Valhalla will be delivered and then enjoy once i get home (kids have already been warned mommy will be in her gaming room and to leave me alone for the rest of the night)
