What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

I canceled Prime years ago over stuff like this. Between that and that when an item they themselves were selling (sold and shipped by Amazon LLC) dropped in price, they wouldn't offer credit anymore. To get it, you'd have to ship an item back to them at your own cost and re-order... if eligible for return.

My Walmart just showed up. Shipped literally late last night. Fedex brought it in a uhaul lol
 
I've got my ring doorbell up on my PC so the moment that fedex guy pulls up I can chew his ass out.
Waiting for it to arrive and at 2:14pm I get a notification that it's been delivered and check my ring and noone has come up to my house or driveway.
The last time this happened was when I ordered my Valve Index, the fuckers just mark it as delivered for no reason I can tell.. they have some excuse about working
together to get all of the deliveries done..

Well that doesn't bode well for me. I'll try and call em and see if I get the same runaround.
 
For those of you who tried the shipping speed trick on Amazon for your XSX/S, did you receive your console or was it delayed?

Thankfully I have a PS5 coming from PS Direct, but I'm worried about the one I ordered for my brother from Amazon.

Thank you he is good just little inflation no bacteria or yeast. Now back to waiting by the door. Here is the handsome devil 44 pound almost 6 month old silver spoo. I love spoos but they are devil's until they mature.

I feel your struggle. Target got me anxious. Best Buy just shipped my copy of Godfall.

Seriously though, I really believe that PS5's will ship tomorrow night from Target (for some). If that doesn't happen, well, at least we know we have one coming as a guarantee. Not everyone can say that. :)

Let me know what happens for you. I just can't get my head around the mental gymnastics to care anymore. If it doesn't show up today by 10pm, I'll be cancelling my Prime and asking for my money back until they can ship it to me.
 
So crazy stuff, I got the email yesterday saying amazon would try to fill my order before the end of the year. I was checking my credit card for something else and saw a charge from amazon, so I logged into amazon and it says they are preparing my shipment. This is the strangest turn around time ever.

Side note I also ordered one last night/early this morning from microsoft in anticipation of amazon not delivering till god knows when...first world problems I know, but I'm not sure if I should cancel one or the other or wait till one is delivered, don't need 2 of them.

The MS confirmation email said anticipated delivery date was 11/12 (I know some people got 12/31) but mine was 11/12.

In summary charged for both, amazon says preparing shipment but no date posted yet, MS says pending but confirmation email says expected 11/12.

Website still says today. The automated assistant says today. Talked to someone who said "sometime before Dec 31st"

I'll be hilarious and infuriating if my costco order from today arrives before fuckin amazon order, which was supposed to be pre-order.

I just chatted with a customer service rep, wasn't much help except for saying sorry and due to large volume just wait until the 12th it should be delivered. I'm like are u sure no status update or tracking info to speak of.

I did the speed trick and just got my console a few hours ago.

I tried the shipping trick for my PS5 and nothing changed that day, but the PS5 did update to shipping Thurday when it did for everyone else.

It's sitting on my dining room table taunting me. Do I open it, or do I wait to see if I'm lucky enough to score a PS5 tomorrow.
 
Not to rub it in anyones face but success. Now transfering saves from the one x. Then move it to it's new home where the one x was.

What state do you live in? Someone from CA just had this status change. I'm on the East Coast and mine is still just Pre Ordered.
 
Both Amazon and Walmart have updated for me to receive both XsX tomorrow. The whole "sit in a warehouse so we can target a delivery date then miss it" is disappointing. Ugh.

I have the PS5 preordered from Target and still showing delivery 13-18 November. I don't even know anymore if I want the PS5 or not. Have to decide today or tomorrow if I will keep the preorder or cancel it. BTW, how is Traget return policy on video game console?
 
Walmart shipped my XSX yesterday and it showed up today. So silver lining if you got one of those emails about late delivery. I hope something similar happens with PS5.

My status updated from Target (PS5) to Estimated Nov. 18. Still Preordered status. Some others have updated to the same date but show preparing to ship.

You can return anything if you don't open it. Should have 30 days I assume
