What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

On Target's app mine doesn't show preparing for shipment. On their website I found a status that says preparing to ship.
 
Now my Gamestop preorder says its being delivered on Nov. 13th. So a day late isn't to bad. If i paid for the expedited shipping i bet it would come on launch day. Picked up my Series X at Best Buy today! Did anyone else order from Gamestop?

Valhalla showed up as scheduled for me today. Everything else sits at arriving Thursday the 12th from Amazon. I do live close enough they could send it out on the 12th though. Biting nails already
 
I called Target and they said they will ship in standard brown boxes.
I sure hope so- i dont know what to believe.

this order is a gift and indont trust carriers with an exposed sought after item. Really????
 
PS5 with Target

My status changed today to estimated delivery by Nov 18th. Kinda bummed no Demon's Souls this weekend. But I'm glad I'm still getting one near launch.
 
Best Buy still says "Getting Ready" & said it would be shipped today (10th). Last time I pre-order from them for something like this.
 
As far as I'm aware Target hasn't updated with shipper yet. Once they do (either UPS or Fedex), you'll get a tracking number. After a few hours, that tracking number will get re-updated with a revised shipping date. Either the 12th or 13th (crossing fingers the 12th).

Walmart got my Xbox Series X here yesterday morning, picked up my Best Buy Series X this morning at 7AM.

Hopefully Walmart gets my two PS5s to me early or on time.. No faith that Target will deliver the PS5 on time, but that's okay.

It's meant to grab your creds and CC info. Netflix, Apple, and Amazon all have these type of emails. It's a bunch of garbage. If you check the header of the email or the actual sender's address it's going to be some odd looking email address.

The lack of solid info about my Target order makes me a bit uneasy. I realize I should just chill and wait, but it's so annoying. I guess I'm also a bit jealous because everyone else seems to have a tracking number and/or more information about their order. My docking station will probably come at a later date. I'll get Godfall and Spider-Man Thursday.

False alarm

My Target PS5 preorder changed from backorder to shipping with an estimated delivery of the 18th, which is apparently just a placeholder date.
 
Nah, header info matches other known legit emails from Amazon unfortunately.

I think the 18th is just a fake date holder until it gets a shipper. If there shipped from the area warehouse I should get it next day. It's only 35 miles away.

It depends on which warehouse it's at.

Sackboy was in Arizona.
Demon Souls was in Pennsylvania.

PS5 - we shall know soon.
 
Series X from Amazon should be here Thursday. Amazon seriously botched this as when the xbox one came out it was delivered on launch day. New Egg series X was shipped but does give me a date to receive it so i'm assuming Thursday as well.
 
Amazon says I'm on track to get Miles Morales, Demon's Souls, and Godfall (Anthem and Avengers burned me but I'm forever a sucker for loot) on Thursday.

I got the "potential delay" email from Walmart for my PS5 but nothing since. On the site tracker says I'm still on pace for the 12th but I haven't been charged yet so I guess we shall see! THEAP99 THEAP99 any updates on your Walmart situation?

I wasn't able to land an XsX pre-order, hoping to catch one in a future wave of availability. Happy to see Ailynn Ailynn snagged a bundle.

To those already next-gen gaming, I salute you. To those of us waiting patiently, we got this. It's gonna be great.

I've got 1.7TB of PS4 games on an external SSD ready to plug into my PS5 whenever it gets here. Haven't played Ghost of Tsushima yet, been waiting for PS5 boost.

I finally got my label created today!!!! A couple of hours ago my label was created with pending delivery... Walmart told me this morning (even with me getting the potential delay email) that it'd ship tonight.

I just checked FedEx right now and it updated!!!

i drove four hours earlier on highways and stuff. made a long trip!

i saw tons of amazon and fedex trucks. trust me guys, it's coming!!!!

target Ps5 friends, we will get the PS5s on Friday 11/13. Not on Thursday 11/12. This is based on my target Xbox experience. It shipped today and I'm getting it tomorrow.
 
I've tried several times to preorder and every opportunity has been a disaster. This will be the first time I don't have a next gen console at launch.

Mine still just says preparing for shipment (ps5 gamestop). Hopefully it ships tomorrow.
