If anime depicts normal every adolescent girls in popular anime like Neon Genesis Evangelion, then it should not be banned or called out for any good reason whatsoever.
If you're uncomfortable watching Neon Genesis Evangelion because of an age gap issue you're having, don't project that shit on other who watch that anime for a plethora of other good reasons (e.g. compelling narrative, cutting-edge animation, etc).

Eh I'd say that's true for the most part, but definitely not always. You will definitely catch a ban or have your creation privileges revoked if you are always railing on about a risqué topic, even if you really do your research and argue respectfully 100% of the time.
Whether that's good or bad depends on your personal preference, but it's observably true.
