You absolutely have left a mark, my friend. You are the NeoGAF member that helped me the most as I was going through a particularly difficult time over the past couple of years. I've had to learn some very hard lessons in trust and how to acknowledge when a person is too dangerous to allow myself to interact with when I am at my most vulnerable. YOU helped me overcome some of that struggle I had been facing.

I will always be grateful for our rapport and for your continued kindness. You are a truly inspiring and wonderful person, and anyone that can call you friend is a blessed person, indeed. :)
 
I think EviLore EviLore did a really good job with these forums. After the events of 2017 he didn't let this place go to the crapper. He instead regrouped and kept fixing it to make it a community where anyone and any views would be welcome. This is the place I feel the most at home online. I like the people around here. I think Nobody_Important Nobody_Important and SF Kosmo SF Kosmo made a significant contribution to the politics forum. They faced a lot of opposition but they stood their ground. (y)

DragoonKain DragoonKain , haxan7 haxan7 and DeepEnigma DeepEnigma for no other reason than feeling their contribution was/is great.

I feel bad for not mentioning others. Generally I honestly don't pay attention too much to who says what, I just reply to what is said.

I'm probably considered ancient (36yo) by gamers who grew up during the ps3/ps4 but I do my best to stay up to date on current happenings. My go to will always be older consoles though, just feels right. Those of us who lived through the golden age of gaming gotta keep those stories and games alive! Good times.

My side is giving back to GAF ha. I lurked here for aaaaaaaggges. While my account was in the fucking barrens of approval. It was such a good place where people like posted the latest news and became a one stop shop. I only come here now and and an LFC site because LFC is fucking amazing. I do enjoy a good look at bluemoon and redcafe though when the mancs lose. Just to drink in the tears.

I have a launch PS5 DE and made loads of the PlayStation OTs (and put effort in as well). I did pick up an XSX, and an XSS though. And I preordered one of those Halo limited edition consoles. I bought Godfall ffs, and Returnal an still play RDR:O with my old crew. But in this lull of games there's loads to catch up on the XSX since I abandoned them after the 360. Mainly I try to post news to contribute to still making this the best one stop shop.

I'm not gonna lie the console warring is fucking awful and wears me down. I come from a generation where I had a mega drive, my mate had a SNES and before that Master System and NES. Before that Commodore and Spectrum. We used to take our devices in old Kwikky bags to each others and swap them for the weekend. I know some is bantz but there's only so much you can take before you're this annoying dick:

There are so many nice people here, even though text based communication leaves a lot lost in translation we all seem to make I work still and that's pretty cool. Callouts are tricky because you always leave somebody out so that's why I only mentioned those I've had PM's with. Always cool to meet the real persons behind the avatar =)
