I think the main problem is all of Microsofts game are far out. Well the big ones anyways. While Sony are dropping hits after hits (although they are cross gen). If Xbox have 3 must have games that in interested in (I'm not into Halo, Gears and Forza) then me who is a PS5 owner would be tempted grabbing an Xbox or a gaming PC. I think Starfield could potentially be the first game I'm interested but I'd need another 2 more must have games before I jump in. So I can see myself getting an Xbox around 2023-2024, hopefully by 2024 Series X Pro is announced so I'd just hold out for that or a gaming PC is cheap by then.

Very glad Arkane is a microsoft studio now, would be a shame they disbanded after this game gets outsell by every game ever released this year. Day 1 deluxe edition preordered baby. Gotta keep em afloat to survive the onslaught of Marvel games in the next 5 years.
Bethesda funded the game. Sony only paid cash to keep it off Xbox consoles.
The GOTY nominations show up as 'Game - Developer/Publisher'. Nowhere is 'exclusive' or 'console' mentioned.
So when it shows up in the nomination lists as 'DeathLoop - Arkane/Bethesda Softworks', try not to lose it, m'kay?

Although it's an Arkane game so no matter how it reviewed I was always going to get it. They are one of the few remaining studios where every project (yes, even Wolfenstein Youngblood) is guaranteed to be quality. Can't wait! Hope it runs okay on my ageing PC though...

So what if they didn't. Its still an xbox studio game that is exclusive to the PS5 for one year because sony paid zenimax for an undisclosed amount prior to the Microsoft acquisition. Sony would not of done this deal if they knew of the MS buy out, its not the best optics for them.
