Same bring back WarhawkNative ps3 ports is the only thing that will get me to sub to this
They're not demos - they're access to the full game for a time limited period like Cyberpunk just had. 5 hours was decent enough and I bought it (again) after getting that far with it on PS5."Most expensive tier gives access to demos"
I don't see the sense in this, but if true we went from free demos and free online to paid online and paid demos within 2 generations...
Bless Jim Ryan Go PlayStation Nation yadayadayada
Can't wait to move on from this garbage
How can anyone resist to a "splashy" line up...
I think it will have games like gamepass but not the very latest ones. Probably 6-12 months old and later.Doubt this will be what people want (a true GP rival)
Demos are cool but I ain't paying 15/mo for that privilege
The media keeps doing to it for clicks which only helps confuse the consumer even further. Sony just wants to retain their PS Plus subscribers, get a few extra dollars out of them, and incentivize those that have a PlayStation (4 or 5) to finally sign up for a subscription. Time and time again they keep saying it won't be a 1:1 equivalent on top of always quoting it won't be like Gamepass, yet it seems to be the only term they know. Same with streaming services and Netflix. Everything new in streaming is trying to be the Netflix of XYZ.Sony or the media?
The media because they believe that consumers will compare the two when deciding what platform +service to buy into. I am kinda with them on that.

Oh, Takashi Mochizuki is always full of shit.Takachi Mochisuki?
Isn't this the guy who promised us a Switch Pro for late 2020 / early 2021?
I haven't owned a playstation since the 3rd one but if this allows me to stream PS games to my PC I'm down for this.
I agree with most of that (including the motivations about increasing the ARPU and attach rate) and still believe that naturally consumers will compare it to Gamepass and Netflix, they don't have to be mutually exclusive reasons. The media keeps doing to it for clicks which only helps confuse the consumer even further. just bought PS Now for my PC because I assume I am going to get bumped to the highest tier. Please have PC launcher, Please have a PC launcher PLEASE HAVE A PC LAUNCHER!!
it's also the end of the Q next week friday.Makes sense, I think the PS4/5 firmware updates this week were a pre-requisite. Now they're out it's ready to go.
Btw forget any possibility of full PS1-PS2 libraries, if there are legacy games at all it will mostly be the same old titles that we've seen before. The licensing/distribution issues with many of those old games haven't gone away.
Oh so this is gonna be an extension of PS NOW? Was not aware of that. I thought it was gonna be something brand new.just bought PS Now for my PC because I assume I am going to get bumped to the highest tier.
Do you mean for native games?
Streaming?!

People seriously don't understand how great streaming can be until you see a game listed that you wanted to try out and you can begin playing it instantly without having to download it.
Nah they are greedy and they'll put everyone on lowest or midtier with a cheap upgrade with current subscription. They'll not converte everyone to the highest tier. Best hope is midtier.Hopefully people with existing PS+ subs will be upgraded to the highest tier automatically.

Its a bit weird but it seems like PS Now is a part of the highest tier so if i was someone without either, I would tell them to just get PS Now because it makes sense that they match you to the service with the same features so effectively you would be get PS+ free.Oh so this is gonna be an extension of PS NOW? I guess my hope is that they come out with something similar to what Xbox has. Most of the games available on Xbox Game Pass are also available on PC Gamepass. I'm not really expecting day and date releases, but more PC ports would be awesome.
We've pinned PlayStation Plus to the left edge of the games home screen.
- You can now redeem monthly games more quickly.
- Get easier access to the PS Plus game collections from home screen.
And? It is ok. I can live waiting 20 minutes for things to download knowing that it'll not be effected if my internet is acting up or goes down.People seriously don't understand how great streaming can be until you see a game listed that you wanted to try out and you can begin playing it instantly without having to download it.
Was? They still are. first place in revenue and biggest marketshare. They can do whatever they want as long as they do not mess with my current PS+ price and features. I remember a time when Sony was the market leader and not the follower. Leave my PS+ alone Jim.

Leader as in not a follower. Not dollars and cents. They should not be chasing Game Pass. Was? They still are. first place in revenue and biggest marketshare.

Hopefully it's available on PC worldwide unlike the ps now utter failure. That's the only way it can compete with game pass.
PS Now is not even available worldwide and that thing was released on 2014/2015 IIRC.
I don't really expect Spartacus to be available on every market either and that's a negative unless they are planning a surprise worldwide release.
Because Game Pass and xCloud was Microsoft's answer to PS Now and its long term plans Sony announced back in 2014 on their PS Now reveal. Why do they keep calling it a Game Pass competitor. When everything we have heard makes it seem more like Nintendo Online.
Well, the highest tier would also include access to a catalogue of allegedly 100 classic PS1 games, with PS2, PSP and PS3 catalogues arriving later on.Most expensive tier seems completely irrelevant.

According to GP subscribers, they buy good games they got to try out even though they're on GP, so this is the same right? Right….?
Anyway let's see.
